In addition, the characteristic of Agkistrodon halys is that it does not rely on the eyes to judge the surrounding environment, but on a special organ between the eyes and nose, the buccal fossa. The buccal fossa, like a funnel, is a highly sensitive thermal locator, which can detect the temperature change of 0.001 ℃. People, birds and animals approach it with the wind and are immediately detected by it. According to its characteristics, people approach it against the wind, even if it is close to feet.

Why can the snakes on the Snake Island reproduce for a long time, so that it becomes the kingdom of snakes? The residents call the snake "white dragon" and dare not kill it as if it is a God; third, most migratory birds in spring and autumn settle on the island and provide rich food for snakes.
