Wangshunshan National Forest Park

Wangshunshan National Forest Park is located in Lanqiao Township, Lantian County, at the northern foot of Qinling Mountains in Shaanxi Province, 45 kilometers away from Xi'an city. National Highway 312 runs across the park. With a total area of 3645 hectares, the park is divided into six scenic spots and more than 150 scenic spots. The park is Wang shunshan. It is known as "xiaohuangshan" in Shaanxi Province for its towering peaks, deep valleys, vast sea of clouds and intact forest vegetation. The park has unique forest landscape, dangerous topography, long history of human landscape, complete tourism facilities, and is an ideal place for sightseeing, vacation, leisure and summer resort.

Wangshun mountain is an important part of Qinling Zhongnanshan World Geopark, National Forest Park and national AAAA scenic spot.

The origin of the name of the mountain

Wang shunshan, formerly known as Yushan, got its name from the burial mother of Wang Shundan, a filial son. The famous Lantian jade is produced in this mountain. Wang shunshan has both the danger of Huashan Mountain and the beauty of Huangshan Mountain. It is famous for its towering peaks, deep valleys and well covered forest vegetation. Its natural landscape and geomorphic features are similar to those of Huangshan Mountain, a famous mountain in China. Therefore, it has the reputation of "xiaohuangshan" in Shaanxi Province. The environment is quiet, the species are rich, the climate is pleasant, and the forest landscape is beautiful. Yuhuangping is the location of Yuhuangding, the main peak of Wangshun mountain. Mount Yuhuangding, the main peak, overlooks Huashan Mountain in the East, Chang'an in the west, the mountains in the South and the Wei River in the north.

Mountain species

1. There are 780 kinds of plants and 30 kinds of wild animals, which are rare and endangered species under state protection, including Lianxiang tree, Lingchun wood, Acer Acer, hazelnut, Sorbus mandshurica, antelope, black bear, giant salamander, etc., which can be called the natural treasure house of wild animals and plants.

There are many biological species in Wangshun mountain, including 870 species of forest plants, with obvious vertical band spectrum. According to the altitude from bottom to top, there are: Pinus bungeana, Platycladus orientalis landscape forest, Songle landscape forest, Betula platyphylla landscape forest, Rhododendron landscape forest. Pinus bungeana is a rare ornamental tree species. It was transplanted to the summer palace in Beijing, Zhongnanhai and eastward to Japan. There are abundant seasonal changes and different landscapes in the four seasons. In spring, flowers are like scenery, competing for splendor; in midsummer, green shade is emerald, cool and pleasant; in autumn, maple is red, chrysanthemum is yellow, and wild fruit is fragrant; in winter, snow embraces blue pass, and silver is wrapped.

Wangshun mountain is a Mesozoic Yanshanian granitic fault block slope mountain area with paleoglaciation. There are 40 Qifeng, 8 Xiuling, 12 streams, 11 waterfalls, 16 pools and 10 caves. Duxiu Peak, Wuyun peak, Xifeng peak, Shizi peak and Qianzhi peak are like a landscape painting screen. A line of sky, blade peak, peacock beam, drunk Sendai, Candlestick, Shiqiang Valley and other scenic spots, such as uncanny workmanship, cliffs, cliffs, flying fog, unpredictable.

Du Fu, a great poet of Tang Dynasty, once wrote a poem: "Languan falls far away from a thousand streams, Yushan is high and two peaks are cold." Han Yu was demoted to Chaozhou, and his way through Languan was blocked by heavy snow, leaving an eternal quatrain of "where is the home of Yunheng Qinling Mountains, and the snow holds the horse of Languan". Facing the beautiful scenery of Wang shunshan, Liu Ji, a poet of the Ming Dynasty, sighed that "the world's famous mountains are unique, and the scenery and the poems in the paintings are in sight".

Shankou shop sells local wild vegetable pancakes and pine seeds from the mountains. It's delicious. There are more luxurious restaurants in the reception area of Shankou.
