Xinghai Radio Museum

Xinghai Radio Museum collects some treasures from various historical stages, such as the invention and application of radio technology and various equipment. It is these early technologies and equipment that truly record the self invention, application and development process of radio technology in various historical periods.

The exhibits collected by Xinghai Radio Museum cover a wide range of different kinds from all over the world. Spanning a long history, the earliest radio technology and equipment, modern electronic products are collected. The mechanical technology and electronic technology of some early exhibits are still valuable for reference and research.

Development history

It took more than three years to build the Xinghai Radio Museum, which collected more than 1200 treasures from various historical stages, such as the invention and application of radio technology and various equipment. The museum with an area of more than 1500 square meters has many unique and rare products since the development of radio.

In 2012, Xinghai Radio Museum opened.

On October 26, 2012, Mr. Lu Haiyu, the owner of Xinghai Radio Museum, was invited to attend the opening ceremony of Media Museum of Communication University of China. At the opening ceremony, President Su Zhiwu of Communication University of China presented donation certificates to seven donors including Xinghai Radio Museum and two donors including Liang Wei.

The award ceremony of "Grand Prix granpige" Shanghai international sound show was held on the evening of November 2 at the Mandarin Jincang hotel. Mr. Lu Haiyu, the owner of Xinghai Radio Museum, was awarded the title of "famous old radio collector" by the jury.

Collection

A: Equipment of radio signal transceiver: military, civil, aviation, navigation, radar, sonar, etc.

B: radio series: ore machines, tube radios, transistor radios, integrated circuit radios, etc. C: recording and sound production series: wax tube recorder and restoration sound production system in the early world, Black Bakelite sound production system and some equipment of steel wire, magnetic tape, laser disc, digital recording and sound production system. D: movie projector: movie, TV recording and projection system. E: early electronic tube amplifying and sound equipment. F: debugging, maintenance, testing instruments and accessories of radio equipment.

Venue features

The Xinghai Radio Museum has also set up a radio science popularization equipment application, assembly and interaction area. For radio technology enthusiasts to provide a device assembly, hands-on operation and practice, experimental place.

Xinghai Radio Museum is divided into European area, American area, Chinese area, interactive area, audio-visual area and audio experience area. There are more than 200 such all-in-one recorders produced in Germany, the United States and the United Kingdom, as well as more than 2000 early-stage tube and transistor radios. All the collections in the museum can be used (listening to music, watching movies, etc.).

Function value

It is hoped that the establishment of Xinghai Radio Museum will provide radio lovers all over the world with a place for memory and appreciation and a platform for communication. To provide a new science popularization experimental base for young people's science popularization activities.
