Main hall
The main museum is the core building of the whole Suzhou Yuyao BRICs Museum, which is divided into three chapters: "opening objects", "finished utensils" and "application". Through cultural relic display, scene restoration, science and technology simulation, interactive games and other exhibition means, the main museum is progressive step by step, and through the three chapters of "opening objects - the cultivation of a brick", "finished utensils - the journey of a brick" and "Application - the era of a brick" The exhibition hall reproduces the refining process of the imperial kiln's gold bricks from the yellow clay on the Bank of Yangcheng Lake to the highest palace of the dynasty. The first exhibition hall is paved with yellow mud, which introduces the whole process from clay to brick through a clue of time; the second exhibition hall, with a water boat as the core, shows the transfer of BRICs from Xiangcheng to Beijing, and through the Beijing Hangzhou Grand Canal and water boat, the third exhibition hall, through a group of BRICs array, shows the Royal BRICs of Ming and Qing Dynasties collected in the museum, which are used for the imperial purpose And the scope of use of BRICs

Ruins Garden
The site garden consists of four parts: kiln village relics, corridor bridge view, remnant kiln site and imperial kiln site. Corridor is an important tour route connecting the landscape, connecting the tourist center, the exchange center and the main hall. There are No.1 to No.8 kilns and replica kilns in the site. The imperial kiln site is a double hole Siamese kiln, also known as "sister kiln", which is an ancient brick kiln in Ming and Qing Dynasties

Architectural features
The construction site of Suzhou Yuyao BRICs museum is roughly in the shape of "pistol"
In order to maximize the area of the core reserve, the surrounding enclosed layout is adopted to create an introverted garden like space. In the north of the base, a tree lined road is set up near the bridge to isolate the noise and create an atmosphere. With the help of the volume height, the South residential area is covered. The interior uses the distribution of production houses and kilns to organize the line of sight, and the streamline design is tortuous. The main building of the museum is a comprehensive refinement of brick kilns and palaces, which deduces the traditional meaning with modern methods. It is not a brick kiln or a palace, but a contemporary public building with both "brick kiln feeling" and "palace feeling", showing the spiritual connotation of "imperial kiln". The museum complex is constructed with various kinds of bricks, which are widely used in the contemporary era. They are progressive layer by layer and set off the golden bricks
.
The landscape design of Suzhou Yuyao BRICs Museum highlights the sense of site, abandons the traditional Soviet style garden style of "exquisite and exquisite", and adopts the design concept of "wild garden". Restore the simple and natural atmosphere of Guyao village
In order to better protect the original appearance of Yuyao site, the landscape design method of natural wilderness is used to metaphor history. Inside the park, there are kilns in various states, such as whole kilns, half kilns and remnant kilns, which form a sense of group, reproduce the scene of the production of BRICs at that time, understand the structure of kilns and the production process of BRICs from various aspects, and expand the knowledge of the museum itself
. Yaocun scenic spots restore the village atmosphere of Guyao village, reflecting the design concept of "natural and wild interest". The corridor is designed with reference to the compound corridor of Suzhou gardens. At the same time, the scenery on both sides can be seen through the brick holes. This is a reference to the technique of missing scenery in Suzhou gardens.
The contemporary art exchange center refines the common elements of traditional brick kilns and modern architecture

Major cultural relics
Double hole imperial kiln
Located on the west side of the museum site, shuangkong conjoined imperial kiln is the only ancient brick kiln with complete preservation. It was built in the late Qing Dynasty, also known as "sister kiln". The ancient kiln has a north-south trend, with an oval plane, 35 meters long from east to west and 33 meters long from north to south, covering an area of 1255 square meters. The outer part is a conjoined structure, the inner chamber and chimney are independent, and the seepage pool is located on the top of the kiln, which has never been recorded in relevant professional books and periodicals. It is unique in Jiangnan and is a "living cultural relic". Sister kilns are still in use and producing BRICs. This is very different from other cultural relics
.
Single kiln
The single kiln adopts the traditional architectural form in the south of the Yangtze River, which is unique. The one near the wall is called the porch pillar, while the two near the middle of the porch pillar are the step pillars. The flower windows next to the porch pillar are made of tiles rolling out one by one, while the other one is made of looking bricks, which is very characteristic. The ground is paved with pieces of gold bricks. If you go in, it is an arched figure of eight. The two small platforms in the middle can be used to place a kettle, towel, etc. when firing a kiln
