There are more than 1500 objects and more than 1000 pictures in the fingerprint Museum, which are collected by the museum from all over the country. A number of ancient potteries on display in the museum attract people's attention. On these objects, such as small tiles in civilian houses, long light plates, containers and so on, we can see some clear fingerprints. These fingerprints are intentionally or unintentionally left by the makers. Some craftsmen are inspired by this, and use fingerprints to draw exquisite patterns on some pottery.
Human fingerprints have a three-dimensional sense because of the unevenness. The raised lines are called mastoid lines, and the sunken areas are called small furrows. According to the central pattern and triangle shape, fingerprints can be roughly divided into "bow", "skip" and "bucket". China's fingerprint technology has been used for more than 5000 years, and two people with the same fingerprint have never been found, which is called "the proof form of never making mistakes" by fingerprint experts.
Among the objects on display in the museum, contracts and documents are the most from the middle and late Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China. One of the interrogation records on September 14, 26, left the left hand of the revolutionaries "which shows that the use of fingerprints at that time was high."
As soon as you enter the museum, the most shocking collection is a specimen of a 4-month-old baby. The 4-month-old baby's skin is already striated.
In addition to the history of fingerprint application, the development of modern fingerprint technology is also an important part of Museum exhibition. At present, the most widely used fingerprint technology is in the field of police investigation, and many cases are cracked because of the fingerprints of the suspect. There are many precious pictures on display in the fingerprint Museum, such as the pictures of the Republic of China politicians inspecting the fingerprint Laboratory of the "Central Police Academy", and the precious images of police cadets learning fingerprint investigation and extraction
