Human history
Here is a brief introduction of some important cultural relics
1、 All kinds of important cultural relics given to Donggu Temple by successive emperors.
There is a scroll painting of Zhu Yuanzhang, Emperor Taizong of the Ming Dynasty. Some say it's Li Shimin, Emperor Taizong of the Tang Dynasty. Some say it's Zhu Yuanzhang, Emperor Taizu of the Ming Dynasty. Others say it's Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty
There are two pairs of big cymbals, one of which is engraved with "Xuande system of Ming Dynasty", the other is engraved with "Xuande five-year system of Ming Dynasty". There are also many precious cultural relics from the mainland of China, such as the Buddha statue of Sakyamuni carved in white jade, ivory plate and so on.
2、 Cultural relics unearthed from Tibet and other places. One is the statue of Sakyamuni, a spontaneous manna Buddha (commonly known as the sweating Buddha) presented by the sixth Panchen Lama luosangbeidan Yixi. The second is a Buddha that can recognize the position. The Buddha's body is about 10 cm high. The Buddha's statue is small, exquisite, and dignified. It is called the Dharma protector Weide. This dharma God always faces the West. The third is a golden Buddha, which is the treasure of Donggu temple. The fourth is a Dapeng golden winged bird egg fossil. It is said that the bird egg fossil often exudes something like oil, which makes people feel very mysterious.
3、 Donggu temple not only has a collection of Thangka paintings more than 700 years ago, but also has a collection of many exquisite modern Thangka paintings. Among them, a set of Ruyi baoteng painted more than 300 years ago (which is a biography of Sakyamuni's life and describes the deeds of Sakyamuni's life) is particularly precious. This set of Thangka paintings of Ruyi baoteng was painted in the 17th century by langkajie, the painter of the sixth living Buddha of Donggu temple. The painting is painted with pure natural pigments, gold powder and silver powder. The figures in the painting are vivid, the mountains, flowers, birds and animals are harmonious, the lines are smooth, the composition is rigorous, the color is gorgeous and lifelike. This set of Thangka paintings of Ruyi baoteng, which have been preserved up to now, has a total of 31 pieces (only 29 pieces at present, and the other two pieces were missing during the Cultural Revolution). It is as if they were newly colored up to now. According to the collectors, the painting imitates the techniques of Han Dynasty in terms of color and strokes. The scenery, buildings and decorations on the Buddha are very lifelike. This painting method is still popular in some parts of Ganzi County.
