Kaohsiung Love River

Love river used to be a canal for transporting timber during the Japanese colonial period. Although its name is related to martyrs, it is now a place for lovers to show their love. A riverside park has been built on the lower reaches of the love river. Every year Dragon Boat Festival and major festivals or activities are held here. In addition, apart from the romantic riverbank style, there are also many stops along the river for tourists to take the boat of love to browse the beautiful riverbank scenery.

Transportation information: take the train to get off at Kaohsiung railway station or take the high-speed railway to Zuoying station, and then transfer to other means of mass transportation.

1. From MRT Orange line to City Council Station, walk along Zhongzheng 4th road to Aihe, or get off at Yanchengpu station, walk from entrance 2 to Zhongzheng bridge, and turn right to Hexi Road.

Take the red line of Kaohsiung MRT, get off at aozidi station, and walk for about 2 minutes.

2. Take bus no.0nan, 25, 33, 76, 77, 91, 248, 214 to the history museum, then walk on Zhongzheng bridge, and turn right to Hexi Road.

Get off at Kaohsiung nuzhong station and walk to Hexi Road for about 5 minutes.

In front of Kaohsiung railway station, you can take bus No.2, 56, 60, 248 or Zhongnan passenger No.1.
