Deng Gong Temple
Denggong temple is located in Nandu street, Nandu Town, Cenxi city. It is 100km away from Wuzhou City and 20km away from Cenxi city. It is a tourist attraction to display ancient Chinese architectural art and local folk culture.
Denggong temple is a hard top brick and wood structure, which is composed of front hall, back hall and middle corridor. The wall is made of green bricks, the beam frame is made of Chuandou framework, and the beams, columns, Fang and Tan are made of lattice wood. The front and rear halls are decorated with carved eaves, red pillars, painted beams, Ruyi Dougong, and the corridor connecting the front and rear halls is decorated with carved flowers on both sides. It was first built in the late Ming Dynasty, and now it has been rebuilt in 1734.
There are four dragon pillars in the temple, which are more than 4 meters high and 40 cm in diameter. Each wooden pillar is carved with a powerful dragon. It is the only remaining ancient woodcarving art treasure in Guangxi. It shows the outstanding creativity of the working people of our country and the extensive and profound Chinese ancient architecture.
