Yan Zhenqing's hometown
Yan Zhenqing was an outstanding calligrapher, statesman and militarist in Tang Dynasty. His ancestral home is xiaotili, Langya, and now he lives in six villages of Zhuman, Fangcheng Town, Feixian County. There are some historic sites such as the "xiaotili" memorial archway and shuangzhong bridge, where Yan Zhenqing was born and grew up.

Yan Zhenqing (709-785), a minister of Qing Dynasty, was an outstanding calligrapher and statesman in Tang Dynasty. During the Kaiyuan period, he became a Jinshi and a system officer. He served successively as county captain, censor of supervision, censor in the palace, governor of the plain, and minister. He experienced four generations: Xuan, Su, Dai, and Dezong.
Life experience
Later, because he offended Lu Qi, the Prime Minister of Dezong, he was framed and sent to persuade Li xilie to surrender. However, he was detained for two years and later hanged by Li xilie's subordinates. He died for his country and was awarded the title of founder of Lu county. He was given to situ and posthumous title of Wenzhong.
Main contributions
Yan Zhenqing loved calligraphy when he was young. It is said that he often used loess to practice calligraphy on the wall. Later, he was taught by Zhang Xu, the sage of grass, and Xu Hao, the great calligrapher. He also created his own style by combining Li calligraphy with the brushwork of the Northern Wei Dynasty. His calligraphy is dignified and vigorous, which is especially suitable for bangshu and Moya calligraphy. Nowadays, when people use regular script to write plaques, they often use Yan style and Wei stele style. "Xuanhe Shupu" says his words: "the point is like falling stone, the painting is like smoke cloud, the hook is like qutie, and the dagger is like a crossbow It is generally acknowledged that Ji Wenming manuscript is the second most popular one after preface to Lanting. Yan Zhenqing's ancestral home is xiaotili, Langya (the sixth village of Zhuman, Fangcheng Town, Feixian County). The restoration of Yan Zhenqing's former residence includes two parts: one is to erect a large marble statue of Yan Zhenqing, which is four meters high, in the center of Feixian County, and rebuild the monument of "the new temple of yanwenzhong, tanglu county" in Yanhe Park of Feixian County; the other is to restore the memorial archway of "xiaotili" in the sixth village of Zhuman, Fangcheng Town, which is Yan Zhenqing's ancestral home And shuangzhong bridge.
Evaluation of later generations
The tomb of Yan Zhenqing was rebuilt in the ancestral cemetery of Yan Zhenqing. From September 23 to 25, 1997, the first National Symposium on Yan Zhenqing was held in Feixian County. 104 experts, scholars and descendants of Yan Family from all over the country attended the symposium.
