Duocai cave

Diecai cave is a series of tunnels from Yuntai mountain to Zhuyu peak. From 1977 to 1987, it took ten years to complete. It is composed of 19 large and small tunnels. The total length of the tunnel is 4831 meters, with a drop of 912 meters. There are 180 degree turns in the tunnel. Every 100 meters of vehicles here, the average elevation rises by 5 meters. Among them, the first 14 tunnels are cut on the opposite cliff, and the road passes through them like a shoelace, so they are also called "shoelace road"

Duocai cave

Diecai cave is the comprehensive name of 19 highway tunnels in Yuntai mountain section of Xiuling highway. It is a masterpiece of Xiuwu people's fighting against heaven and earth. It took eight years to build it. The size of 23, end-to-end, a total length of more than 4000 meters, in the cliff overlap straight up.

Architectural history

Diecai cave is the comprehensive name of 19 highway tunnels in the Yuntai mountain section of Xiuling highway. It is also a vivid portrayal of Xiuwu people's "unity and cooperation, not afraid of difficulties and dangers, not afraid of sacrifice, fighting heaven and earth". From 1977 to 1986, more than 8000 party members and cadres in the county participated in the battle of Xiuling highway. Among them, 23 people have given their precious lives, and advanced Party members such as Guo Maiwang and Zhang Youchen have emerged.

In the gap between the caves, you can see Pingchuan from a distance, cliff from a close view, strange rocks from the top, valleys from the bottom, birds singing, springs singing like harps, flowers fragrant and haze fragrant. There are many strange stones in the site, such as "snail climbing", "warship patrolling", "bamboo shoots into the clouds", "can't get down", "Red Rabbit frightened", "double quail fighting", "yixiantian" and "Taihang flower", a rare perennial rose herb named by Chinese Academy of Sciences. From the "Diecai cave" to the "sanxiu peak", there is a strange stone about 40 meters high on the peak. The pavilion stands in the green forest of flowers. From different angles, it turns into a big Ganoderma lucidum, a beautiful village girl and a modern girl climbing the mountain in a long skirt. Its peak contains the meaning of mountain show, stone show and flower show. Passing the "sanxiufeng" means arriving at the "Xiying Temple". Looking down to the west, you can have a panoramic view of Gaoxia and Pinghu. It has the poetic meaning of "far into Yingzhou, who says the immortal road is long". To the south, there is the "Buddhist niche peak" standing face to face, and there is the artistic conception of "Buddha goes to the niche and stays empty".

1. Nantianmen, cave 1 of diecaidong, is also the South Gate of Yuntai mountain.

2. The double humps, hidden in the misty mountain fog, look like camels, and have a vivid look.

3. Sanxiu stone is very strange. If you look at it from different angles, its appearance will also change. Sometimes Dai girls, sometimes Ganoderma lucidum.

4. The elephant climbs the mountain. On the bamboo forest like cliff, the peculiar mountain body naturally becomes the appearance of the elephant. It seems that the elephant is trying to climb to the top of the mountain.
