Longtou Village

Longtou village is located in the east of Lvshunkou District, Dalian City, Liaoning Province, and the south of Longtou street. It is adjacent to northeast mountain village in the north, sujiadaling village in the East, Yanchang new village in the South and Jiangjia village and Wangjia village in the West.

In December 2017, Longtou village won the honor of top 300 influential villages in 2017.

Area and population

The total area of the village is 5.801 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over wangjiadianzi, congjiadianzi

There are five natural villages in Longtou Hedong, Longtou Hexi and songlangou, with a total of five villager groups. By the end of 2009, there were 467 households and 1312 residents.

Historical evolution

Longtou village has a long history. According to textual research, there was no residence here in the early Qing Dynasty. According to the inscriptions of Zhou's ancestors, in the sixth year of Jiaqing (1801) of the Qing Dynasty, Zhou and other residents moved from Shandong to live here, reclaiming land and farming. Later, Yang and other families moved in from Henan and lived in songlangou and Hexi natural villages respectively.

Development status
