Biyan mountain
Biyan mountain is located in the southwest of Longjing City, 3 kilometers away from the central area of Longjing City, with convenient transportation. It is a natural mountain park in Longjing with luxuriant trees, surrounded by rivers and pleasant scenery. There are Neolithic cultural relics and anti Japanese struggle sites in the mountains.
Biyan mountain is located in the foothills of yingerling, the branch of Changbai Mountain. The highest peak is 494.50 meters above sea level. The total area of the mountain is about 4.5 square kilometers. The East and north slopes are gentle, while the West and south slopes are steep. In the east of the mountain is Xitian yuan, which overlooks the panoramic view of Longjing City. In the west of the mountain is Pingjiang yuan, which faces Biyan mountain across Hailan river. In the west, South and east of the mountain are surrounded by Hailan river. Biyan mountain belongs to the temperate continental semi humid monsoon climate zone, with an annual average temperature of 5.2 degrees.
Yisongting scenic spot is the main scenic spot of Biyan mountain tourist area. Because there is a tall and ancient pine tree standing on the cliff, its crown is like a pavilion, so it is called "yisongting". More than 50 years ago, it was a place for countless people with lofty ideals and patriotic youth to carry out Anti Japanese propaganda. On April 1, 2002, "yisongting" was named as the key cultural relics protection unit of Longjing City by Longjing municipal government.
