Pingcuolin Temple
Pingcuolin temple is located in pingcuolin Township, Razi County, Xigaze, Tibet Autonomous Region, with an altitude of 4100 meters. It was built by doronatha in 1615 ad.
In 1996, it was listed as a cultural relic protection unit at the level of autonomous region. The temple is located in the West and faces the East. It is divided into main building and subsidiary building. The main building is composed of assembly hall, La kangdunzhu, Waijing temple, Zong government site, monk house, etc. The assembly hall covers an area of 1700 square meters and has three floors. The subsidiary building is an important part of pingcuolin temple, which is composed of tubujianlakang, jijielakang, Luohan hall, Potala LAKANG, bazilakang, zhuomalakang, lamalakang, zhaxilakang and some monasteries. The murals of pingcuolin temple are mainly distributed in the front porch and Sutra hall on the ground floor of the assembly hall, the gallery wall on the second floor of Yitu hall and the Russian Buddhist hall on the third floor. These murals have high historical, artistic and scientific value. In 2006, it was announced as the Sixth Batch of national key cultural relics protection units by the State Council.

Temple introduction
It was built by doronatha in 1615. 3300 monks, and 94 9-story dayerata bedrooms were built at the top of the temple. There are a large number of precious old murals and gold-plated copper Buddha statues, such as Shengwei King Kong, Shilun King Kong, Shengle King Kong and so on. There are also four treasures: one is the walking stick of tubwa xiraojianzan, which is about 1 meter long; the other is the walking stick of dayerata, which is said to be given by the Mongols. The walking stick is engraved with Mongolian, Tibetan, dragon, etc., which is about 1.2 meters long; the third is the cymbal of doronatha, which is said to be able to extricate the sea of suffering; the fourth is a pair of gemstones, one is like an egg, white, with natural incantations on it The other is shaped like an almond with a white line on it.

Doronatha (1575-1634 A.D.) was a historian and Sanskrit linguist of Ming Dynasty, an eminent monk of juenong sect of Tibetan Buddhism, and the founder of reincarnation system of Zhebuzundanba, the largest reincarnation living Buddha in Outer Mongolia. Its real name is sejue Duoji. He was born in a Buddhist translator's family in kerejuanzun, the border between Wei and Tibet. At the age of 8, he became a monk in Jue Nang temple. He was given the precept of Shami and got the name of Gongga Ningbo. At the age of 21, he was named doronatha, which means "patron saint in Sanskrit".
