Jing'an County Museum is the first-class County Museum in Jiangxi Province. It is located 200 meters south of the Eastern Zhou tomb site in lizhou'ao, Shuikou Township, close to wanhuang line of provincial road, covering an area of 35 mu, with a total investment of more than 3 million yuan.

The appearance of the exhibition hall is designed by China Ruilin design company, which is simple, dignified and modern.

Basic Display

The internal exhibition includes "Lost Kingdom" and "light of Jing'an civilization". The lost kingdom is a special exhibition on the tombs of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty in lizhou'ao, Jing'an county. The exhibition fully shows the structure and burial process of the tombs of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty in lizhou'ao by using unearthed cultural relics, scene reproduction, 3D animation and other sound, light and electricity means, and comprehensively introduces the history, art and scientific value of the tombs of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty in lizhou'ao. The light of Jing'an civilization is an exhibition of general history of Jing'an. Taking the time axis as the main line, it uses a large number of cultural relics of various periods to introduce the history of development and civilization of Jing'an for more than 5000 years. The exhibition line is more than 280 meters long.

Collection

The museum displays more than 650 cultural relics unearthed from Eastern Zhou tombs, such as gold flags, painted lacquer wooden swords, textile tools, instant noodles and bronzes, and more than 1000 cultural relics unearthed from Jing'an County in different periods, such as the Neolithic age, Shang and Zhou dynasties, Han Dynasty, song and Yuan Dynasties, Ming and Qing Dynasties. Among them, the highest archaeological value is that the surface is decorated with three dragon shaped patterns by carving techniques; the outer ring is decorated with double-layer ceramic ornaments, on which is engraved with exquisite cloud thunder patterns, and a round gold flag with a diameter of 30 cm.
