Wufengshan National Forest Park is located in the east of Dazhu County, also known as "Bamboo Park". The scenic spot is 22 kilometers away from the county seat, 140 kilometers away from Chongqing in the south, 61 kilometers away from Dazhou in the north and 350 kilometers away from Chengdu in the west, all of which are connected by expressways. The total area of the scenic spot is 876 hectares, with the highest altitude of 1080 meters and the lowest altitude of 600 meters. It has a subtropical humid climate, with an average annual temperature of 12.5 ℃, four distinct seasons, abundant rainfall, warm in winter and cool in summer. The water quality of the hot spring is rich in a variety of mineral elements, which is a rare geothermal medical mineral water.

Wufengshan national forest park takes bamboo as the theme, with more than 30 kinds of bamboo species. The main landscape is the green and straight Phyllostachys praecox landscape. In the natural scenic spots of Eastern Sichuan, it is famous for its large-scale bamboo forest, many kinds of bamboo, diverse forest plants, excellent natural ecological environment and distinctive characteristics. There are 432 species of seed plants in 83 families, more than 10 species of common trees such as Pinus massoniana and Cinnamomum camphora, 11 species of bamboos such as Fraxinus mandshurica and Phyllostachys pubescens, many famous ancient trees such as Taxus chinensis (national first-class protected tree species), Osmanthus fragrans and Phoebe nanmu, and wild animals including hooves, reptiles, amphibians and birds There are 122 species of wild animals, including goats and hedgehogs; 187 species of birds, such as Acacia, thrush and bamboo chicken; dozens of amphibian and reptile rare wild animals; more than 800 species of insects, including wild goats, rabbits, pangolins, hedgehogs, wild boars, acacia, Banwei hazelnut and cuckoos.
Development and construction
Wufengshan National Forest Park was initially established in 1987. With the strong support of Dazhu County Forestry Bureau and the correct leadership of the county Party committee and government, it was approved as Wufengshan Forest Park in Sichuan Province by the provincial forestry department in 1992, approved as Wufengshan National Forest Park by the State Forestry Bureau in 2002, appraised as national 3A scenic spot by Sichuan Provincial Tourism Bureau in 2006, and approved as four national parks in 2008 The Environmental Protection Bureau of Sichuan Province rated it as a natural ecological community, and was rated as a "low carbon eco-tourism demonstration unit" by Sichuan eco tourism association in 2012.
As of the beginning of 2013, the park has successfully attracted investment and made efforts to create a "hot spring paradise" according to the national AAAAA standard. After completion, Wufeng mountain will become a large-scale ecological leisure tourism resort of "summer in the mountains and winter in the water". Changfeng Village, Chaoyang, has built a new 5 km tourism highway. The gate of the park, the tourist reception center and the bamboo garden are under construction according to the 4A scenic spot standard.

Zhuhai hotel in the scenic area integrates leisure, vacation, accommodation and catering, which can accommodate more than 80 people at the same time. In addition, there are restaurants in the reception center and Cuizhu villa, which can accommodate more than 400 people at the same time.
