Qingyaoshan scenic spot is located in the northwest of Xin'an County, Luoyang City, Henan Province. It is 40 km away from Xin'an County, 70 km away from Luoyang City, 180 km away from Zhengzhou City and 320 km away from Xi'an city. Longhai railway, Lianhuo Expressway and 310 National Road run through the East and West, and 314 provincial road directly leads to the scenic spot. Qingyaoshan is a World Geopark, a provincial nature reserve and a provincial scenic spot, covering an area of 76 square kilometers. It is located in the group of cultural sightseeing and leisure tourism in the west of Henan Province. According to the book of mountains and seas, "Qingyao mountain is the secret capital of the emperor". The ancient scriptures make Qingyao mountain have the origin with Xuanyuan Yellow Emperor, the cultural ancestor of the Chinese nation, and make it the carrier of inheriting ancient culture through the long time tunnel.

With an altitude of 1385 meters, the whole scenic area integrates mountains, stones, water, caves, forests, grasses, flowers, birds and animals. It is magnificent, dangerous, strange, secluded, beautiful and wonderful. It has formed five scenic areas with its own characteristics, namely Lianzhu gorge, Shuanglong gorge, qingnvfeng, Xiahe and primeval forest. In ancient times, dozens of clans living in the Yellow River Basin often fought for living space. Six or seven thousand years ago, the Yellow Emperor first defeated Yan Emperor in Guquan, and then fought with Chiyou in Zhuolu, Hebei Province. According to the ancient books, the head has horns and the body has thorns. It is extremely fierce. During the war, Chiyou was defeated and killed. The brave Chiyou Yubu retreated to qingyaoshan to fight against the danger. Among the indigenous people in qingyaoshan, there was a highly skilled girl named Wuluo in the "VIP" tribe. She helped the Yellow Emperor subdue the Chiyou Yubu and promoted the intermarriage and harmonious coexistence among the tribes. Yanhuang, Chiyou, baizhanhe and SINOCHEM have three roots. After years of war, the three ancestors finally reconciled and formed an alliance in qingyaoshan, forming the first great fusion in the history of Sinochem.

geographical position

It starts from Huangbeiling in the East, reaches xidayuan in the west, borders Mianchi, Dadian in the north and Cangtian in the south. It covers an area of 90 square kilometers, with the highest altitude of 1385 meters. The formation age of geological landform is 1.2 billion years. It is a good place for leisure and vacation because of its combination of mountains and rivers, simple human history. The city cliff is the birthplace of the WAN river. Among the mountain streams and ravines, the streams are gurgling and the water quality is pure and clear. It is suitable for irrigation and drinking.

Geology and geomorphology

Most of the mountains are brown forest soil, and the cultivated land beside the valley and river is brown soil. The surface is covered with litter. The soil is loose and fertile with high content of organic matter, neutral and acid, pH value below 6.8, and the thickness of soil layer is different. There are sandstone or gravel at different depths.

The whole hill is covered by natural secondary forest, forming natural plant communities such as trees, shrubs, vines, plants, fungi, etc. with a wide variety, it is a natural botanical garden.

Due to the influence of the Luliang movement, a thick basalt accumulation was formed in the ancient strata. After the Luliang movement, the crust in this area gradually stabilized, and the mountains formed before were weathered and denuded for a long time, becoming a quasi plain state. Because of the low and concave terrain in the area, it has received the extremely thick Sinian quartz sandstone deposition.

In the Early Cambrian, the area declined slowly and fell into the shallow sea area. The sea water developed frequently and deposited variegated limestone. In the late Cambrian, the crust grew up, so the upper Cambrian strata were missing.

Since then, under the influence of Caledonian movement, the area has experienced frequent ups and downs, sometimes receiving sedimentation, and sometimes weathering and denudation.

During the Triassic period, due to the influence of the Yanshan movement, the area rose to land and exposed a huge thickness of Sinian quartz sandstone. After a long period of weathering, denudation, cutting and transportation, steep peaks, cliffs and deep valleys were formed. The tertiary and Quaternary deposits were deposited on the valley depression, thus forming all the geomorphic forms today.

Climate characteristics: qingyaoshan belongs to the north temperate continental monsoon climate with four distinct seasons, cold in winter, mild in spring and autumn and cool in summer. The annual average temperature is 12.80 ℃.

City cliff land

Located in the hinterland of the mountains in the west of Qingyao, it is the capital of the legendary goddess of Wuluo, who is in charge of the government affairs of Midu. Lianzhu Gorge

The total length is about 3 km. Because of the dense forest, rich water resources, high mountains and long rivers, in the gorge, the lake is linked to the Pearl, just like the big and small gourds on the twists and turns of the vine, so the common name of Lianzhu gorge is also called "Hulutao". Within the canyon, there are two mountains. The valley is deep and narrow. Sometimes the gully is open and the sky is shining. Sometimes the cliff is inclined and the cliff is blocked. Shuanglong Gorge

QingNv peak

The mountain is dangerous and steep, which is quite beautiful. Bauhinia Lake

Shuanglong Temple

Shuanglong temple is located in front of Liangtan. It was built in the Ming Dynasty. It has been renovated since then. There are two Dragon Kings in the temple. This temple is also to commemorate the great achievements of black and white two dragons.

White dragon pool and black dragon pool

White dragon pool and black dragon pool are located under the cliff at the top of the canyon. They are bright and dark, so they are called black and white. It is said that white dragon and black dragon, who opened the way for the Yellow Emperor Xuanyuan, lived here at that time.

Thin strip of sky

Located at the end of Baochun slope, yixiantian is a branch of Shuanglong gorge.
