Qingyuan mushroom Museum, founded in 1997, is a professional and comprehensive museum with the theme of displaying mushroom history, culture and industrial development.

Collection

The museum has rich contents and novel display forms. It integrates collection, exhibition, publicity, science popularization, education and research. It has five units and a temporary exhibition hall, namely, the source of mushrooms, the road of mushrooms, the rhyme of mushrooms, the question of mushrooms and the song of mushrooms. Through precious historical relics, mushroom production scene restoration, multimedia interaction, phantom imaging and other high-tech means, it shows the long history of mushroom culture and the brilliant glory of mushroom industry in an all-round and multi angle way, and has become a wonderful flower in domestic mushroom museums. China Qingyuan mushroom Museum has become a special window to display Qingyuan image, which will play a positive role in promoting industrial transformation and upgrading, highlighting Qingyuan brand characteristics and enhancing Qingyuan comprehensive competitiveness.

In the future, the original exhibition of history, revolutionary history and gallery bridges will continue. The history of Qingyuan County mainly reflects the photos and charts of ancient buildings and cultural sites in Qingyuan; there are representative cultural relics and specimens reflecting 4000 years of human activities from the new ancient times to the Ming and Qing Dynasties; there are porcelain specimens reflecting the different periods of production of ancient kilns in Qingyuan; there are folk crafts reflecting local characteristics, celadon and ancient coins of Longquan kiln. The display of Qingyuan revolutionary history contains pictures and text charts of the revolutionary history, as well as weapons, ammunition, daily necessities, clothes and hats used by soldiers, which comprehensively reproduces the historical features and revolutionary history of Qingyuan. The gallery bridge exhibition shows various styles and structures of the gallery bridge, three groups of contents of the protection and development of the gallery bridge, and the gallery bridge models and handicrafts; the bamboo chopsticks exhibition shows the rich and varied bamboo products and handicrafts of famous enterprises in the county and the style and general situation of Qingyuan.

Development history

The museum is divided into 10 parts to display a large number of objects and pictures. The Institute of Microbiology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, the Shanghai Academy of Agricultural Sciences and Zhejiang supply and marketing society all presented their works with congratulations. Lu Yongxiang, Si Daxiao, Chen Chuanqun, Yu Yongnian, Zang mu, Mao Xiaolan and other scientists and leaders wrote congratulations.

In 1997, the original mushroom museum was taken over by the cultural department and rebuilt into a mushroom Museum. It is the first mushroom Museum in China. It was officially opened to the outside world on December 21, 1998. In order to further explore and promote the mushroom culture, Qingyuan county Party committee and government moved the mushroom museum to a new site in 2010, which officially opened on December 11 during the Eighth China Qingyuan mushroom culture festival, and added Qingyuan history and revolutionary history topics. Gallery bridge and bamboo chopsticks were opened as scheduled in the 6th Xianggu festival in 2005. The new museum is located in the ecological park of the county, with a total construction area of 2380 square meters. Its basic function is to collect, keep, research, display and display cultural relics and specimens related to mushroom cultivation, comprehensive history, revolution, corridor bridge and bamboo chopsticks.

In order to expand and excavate the connotation of mushroom culture, Qingyuan county government took the opportunity of the eighth Qingyuan Chinese mushroom Festival and invested heavily to relocate the mushroom museum to the side of the ecological park of Qingyuan scenic spot. The museum opened on December 11, 2010. Inscription by Zhang Shuting, chairman of international Mushroom Science Society and famous Mycologist.

Mushroom museum is the only one in the country to display mushroom culture based on a combination of professional and comprehensive museum. It also shows 15 groups of display contents, such as mushroom cultivation procedures and methods, mushroom cultivation history and culture, mushroom biology, Mushroom Science and technology, mushroom specimens, fungi stamps, mushroom City Qingyuan, etc.; it also imitates the mushroom mountain scene modeling of ancient "flower cutting method" mushroom production and mushroom squatters where mushroom people live, and collects historical materials of high historical value. The new display adopts new acousto-optic technology, which increases the interest and interactivity.
