Three mink horns
San Diao Jiao is the easternmost point of Taiwan Island and the terminal point of the northern coast. It is located on the coastal highway between Fulong bathing beach and Ilan Tau city. It has a beautiful shape and is an important indicator of the northeast coast. You can see the coastal scenery from the lighthouse. It is the best place to enjoy the scenery and watch the sunrise.
brief introduction
San Diao Jiao is located in the easternmost promontory of Taiwan, between today's Fulong and Toucheng. The coast is rocky. In 1626, Spanish ships from the Philippines sailed to the northeast corner of Taiwan, preparing to occupy the northern part of Taiwan. They called this place San Diego, and it was said that San Diego castle was built here. The backstage language changed San die into three Diao Jiao.
In 1929 and 1931, Japanese ships Fushun Maru and Huanan Maru were shipwrecked and sank in the sea area near sandiao Kok. Therefore, the governor's office of Taiwan prepared to build a lighthouse here, which still exists today.
