Jingmingquan
Jingmingquan (mingshuiquan), also known as mingjingquan, is located at the north end of ximawan and the west side of tangziqiao. The poems of 72 springs in Ming Dynasty are called "Ming water spring". "Qi Cheng" in Yuan Dynasty states: "clear water, a pure spring, comes from the stone bridge in northwest of Baimai.
brief introduction
The spring is clean and the dust is not left. The natives wash their eyes to get rid of the haze. They drink with ximawan for more than three li and enter the Xiujiang river And north to the Xiaoqing River. " Qing Daoguang's Ji'nan Fu Zhi is also recorded. According to local people's legend, Li Shimin, king of the Tang Dynasty, had been here on the east road when he was on the expedition. Many soldiers got eye disease. At this time, a boy and a girl appeared and led the soldiers to the spring to wash. In an instant, the disease disappeared and the boy and the girl were reclusive. Since then, people have called this spring jingmingquan, and built "yanmingwang Temple" beside the spring, with a statue of boy goddess inside. Today, the statue has disappeared, but the temple still exists, and there is a stone tablet named "rebuilding the temple of eyesight" in the 24th year of Daoguang reign of the Qing Dynasty. The spring was cut off because the underground water source was cut off, and the stone well shaped spring pool was also buried in recent years. In the season of full water, the spring still flows in the rock gap of the North Bank of tangziqiao.
