Jingshan
Jingshan is 50 kilometers northwest of Hangzhou city. Jingshan is famous in the Buddhist world. Jingshan temple, founded in the Tang Dynasty, has more than 1700 monks and 360 Buddhist rooms. Together with Lingyin Temple and Jingci temple in Hangzhou, Tiantong temple and asokang temple in Ningbo, it is also known as the "five mountains of Zen courtyard".

In the Jingshan Temple site, there are still Temple steles written by song Xiaozong, "Sansheng" iron Buddha, big bells and bell towers cast in Yongle period of Ming Dynasty, temple steles, Yuan Ding and other cultural relics. The temple has been rebuilt. The path has beautiful mountains and beautiful scenery. Su Dongpo had been on the Jingshan mountain four times, and the existing "Dongpo xiyanchi" site. Maofeng Tea produced in Jingshan is as famous as "West Lake Longjing". It is said that Lu Yu of Tang Dynasty wrote a Book of tea here. In ancient times, there were "tea banquet", "tea fight" and other ceremonies, which were later passed back to China by Japanese eminent monks and developed into "tea ceremony".
Introduction to scenic spots
There is an ancient temple of Tang Dynasty on the mountain, which was built in 742 ad (the first year of Tianbao). It is said that monk Faqin came here to preach and was granted the title of "national first Zen master"; in the Southern Song Dynasty, song Xiaozong wrote "Xingsheng Wanshou temple through mountain"; Jiading was listed as the first of "five mountains and ten temples" in the south of the Yangtze River. In its heyday, there were many halls and pavilions, with 3000 monks, known as "the first Buddhist temple in Southeast China".
The main attractions are: Songyuan Tianfeng, Lingyan drinking stone, DIAOQIAO Xige, longbi fountain, Longxin fishing, etc. Historic sites include Longjing of Tang Dynasty, imperial stele of Song Dynasty, ancient pagoda of Yuan Dynasty, bronze bell of Ming Dynasty, Lu Yuquan, etc. Luyuquan, also known as lujiajing, is located at the head of Shuangxi Pavilion. The depth of the well is not more than ten feet. It is said that it is the place where luyujiquan cooks tea. Lu Yu once wrote the book of tea here.
Famous tea, Liangquan and boiled bamboo shoots are the three treasures of Jingshan. Jingshan Yunwu Tea is a famous tea in China and enjoys a good reputation at home and abroad. Jingshan has a long history of friendship with Japan and is the ancestral court of linjizong in Japan. The Japanese "tea ceremony" also originated from the "Jingshan" tea banquet. In the southeast of Jingshan, there is an ancient town of Yuhang, which has a history of more than 2000 years. There are many scenic spots in the town, such as twin towers, shuichengmen, Tongji Bridge, and anleshan. In the west of the town, the newly-built Beijing Airlines Park, known as "Xiaoxihu", has a pleasant scenery, in which there is an exhibition room for the unjust case of Yang Naiwu and Chinese cabbage. The tomb of Yang Naiwu, the tomb of Chinese cabbage and the place where he became a monk are all in the town. There is an exhibition room of Zhang Taiyan's former residence in Cangqian town.
Transportation guide
Take bus 533 (regular shift: Yuhang West Station - Jingshan Temple) to Jingshan temple, and get off to Jingshan temple.
Take bus No.452 (Huanghu bus station Tongqiao) or bus No.466 (Jingshan bus station Tongqiao) to Tongqiao and get off to the entrance of Jingshan ancient road. Go up to Jingshan temple.
From Hangzhou city to Jingshan scenic spot, you can take bus 506 (Gudang takes bus 346 and 356) to Yuhang, and then transfer to bus 533 (regular shift at 9:00 a.m.) to Tongqiao / Jingshan temple.
