Beijincheng site is located in Sanchaji on the West Bank of Xiangjiang River, where Nanchong village of Gushan Township in Wangcheng County borders Yuehua village of Yuelushan Township in the suburb of Changsha. In shuijingzhu written by Li Daoyuan in the Northern Wei Dynasty, "there is an old city in the northwest of the city, which is the new governance of Linxiang County, and Beijin city in the northwest of the county governance." in Changsha County governance written by Tong Zhi in the Qing Dynasty, "Tucheng mountain is located in the north of the first three branches of Hexi capital, with eight or nine li of Zhouji" just like a city corridor. There are roads in and out on all sides, such as city gates, so it is called Tucheng. Its mountain wall is extremely steep, with a height of five or six feet, and a height of three or four feet. " After more than 2000 years of wind and rain, the earth built city wall is still magnificent, and the traces of rammed earth can be seen. There is a natural gap in the north and south of the city wall, which is known as the "South Gate" and "North Gate". The city is protected by water, with Xiangjiang River in the East and Gushan Mountain in the West. The city wall is surrounded by paddy fields and ponds, which should be the original protected river. The site of the city is about 500000 square meters. In the 1980s, bronzes and pottery from the Warring States period to the early Han Dynasty were excavated near the city wall. Now they have been listed as provincial cultural relics protection units.

geographical position
This is one of the few ancient earthen walls in our country. Recently, due to the local residents building houses with walls, some walls have been damaged. This site, which represents the architectural achievements of the ancient Chu and Han Dynasties, is suffering serious damage recently.
According to a person in charge of the cultural relics department of the Changsha Municipal Bureau of culture, the Municipal Bureau of culture has signed a letter of responsibility for the protection objectives with the local management department, and organized a special team to patrol every month. However, in order to truly protect the ancient city wall, we must constantly improve the local residents' awareness of cultural relics protection, and strengthen the cooperation of land, planning, public security and other departments. That is to say, it is not easy. It's a pity that some photos can't be uploaded. If you have a chance, you'd better come and have a look. Now, not far from here is the third Xiangjiang bridge.
