Yu Pingbo Memorial

The new Yu Pingbo memorial hall was built on June 10, 2015. It is located in building 36, yuyingfang, Wukang Town, Deqing County, Zhejiang Province, with an exhibition area of more than 300 square meters. Taking Yu Pingbo's "family studies", "Literature" and "Redology" as the main line, the memorial displays some of Yu Pingbo's manuscripts, anthologies and photos, supplemented by modern audio-visual and other multimedia means, focusing on Yu Pingbo's academic achievements in poetry, prose, classical literature and the study of a dream of Red Mansions.

Yu Pingbo memorial hall was founded in 1993. Its original site is located at No. 33, tanjianong, Qianyuan Town, Deqing County (at that time, it was part of the exhibition hall of Deqing County Museum). In 2015, the new memorial hall, funded by Deqing County Government and built independently, was officially completed on June 10. The new hall is located in building 36, Yuying square, Wukang street, Deqing County, covering an area of more than 300 square meters.

The exhibition in the museum is divided into three parts: family studies, Redology and literature, and is accompanied by a large number of physical objects and written descriptions, which fully demonstrates Yu Pingbo's academic achievements and contributions in his life.

Bronze statue of Yu Pingbo

The bronze statue of Yu Pingbo is placed on the top of the mountain park in Qianyuan Town, Deqing County. It is also called shiting mountain. The bronze statue of Yu Pingbo is shaped by a professor of Zhejiang Academy of fine arts. Part of Yu Pingbo's ashes are placed in the base of the bronze statue. The whole statue is solemn and serene, which fully reflects the noble style of this scholar.
