Ganhaizi is an open meadow at the east foot of Yulong Snow Mountain and a natural ranch. The terrain of the scenic spot is gentle and undulating. The best season for mountaineering: April to may in spring and October to November in autumn.

Tour route: the typical tour route is from Lijiang City Ganhaizi Baishuihe yunshanping. Starting from Baishui River, you can take yunshanping cableway up the mountain or ride a horse, but it takes more than one hour to ride back and forth.

Skiing: you can ski all year round in Yulong Snow Mountain. Take the closed cable car of Yulong Snow Mountain to the four seasons ski resort of 4506 meters in Shanghai (165 yuan for round-trip cable car).

Food recommendation: if the tourists are in the mountain, they happen to meet the local Yi people who set up a stall to sell chicken fir. The price is cheap, about 15 yuan / bag. I suggest you buy some back. You can have the boss fry a plate of chicken fir meat for you in a nearby restaurant. It's very delicious. This kind of chicken fir is a treasure of fungi. It costs hundreds of yuan to buy it in Kunming.
