Historical legend

Zhenshan was originally named guangzhengshan, but later it was renamed Zhenshan. There is also a myth. It is said that in the Tang Dynasty, there was a family with the surname Wen in a small village at the foot of the mountain. The old couple had no children under their knees. Later, they dreamt of a snow-white lotus coming. Soon after, the wife gave birth to a baby girl. At the full moon, the husband and wife made an engagement for their daughter. When she grew up, the girl's fiance was killed by a tiger when she went up to the mountain to cut firewood. Miss Wen resolutely went to her husband's house to serve her in laws. However, when several local dandies saw that Miss Wen was slim and beautiful, they had to go to Guangzheng mountain to escape. One day, these unscrupulous men went into the mountain to commit violence. Seeing that there was no way out, Miss Wen jumped into the deep pool and died. At this time, the fairy music is singing together, and all the fairy maids step on the clouds and come, holding up Wengu and drifting West. Then, a piece of yellow paper floated down from the sky, which read: "Zhenshan is a piece of white stone, Zhenshan is a piece of white stone; human beings are amorous, and their hair is white. Who worries about Zhenshan?" From then on, Guangzheng mountain was renamed Zhenshan, and wenniang tiaotan was named Zhenya. Around the Zhenshan mountain, there are many famous places, such as incarnation pool, fairy fish, fairy snail, stone bowl, stone basket and so on.

Landscape features

There are three pools on the mountain, and the waterfall flows continuously at four o'clock. There are stones beside the dragon pool and bamboo on its side. The wind often sweeps itself. It's said that the people's livelihood will benefit from the rain.

In the mountains, there is a couplet on the cliff: "when the hemp thread spins, a piece of ice dust will not be stained; fish and snails pass on the historic sites, and the moon will be clear with the shadow of the pond.". There is a pool beside the cliff. Sun: incarnation: the water is clear. There are flat tailed snails in the stream, commonly known as "Wudu stone snails"; there are half Brown snails, commonly known as "fried crucian carp". There are magic stones such as Malan, water bowl and dressing mirror on the mountain, which are also said to be immortal traces. More than a thousand years ago, zhenlie temple was built to worship Wenxian. Although it collapsed and repaired many times, it eventually led to decadence. Today, Zhenxian temple is rebuilt at the foot of the mountain. The local people's sacrifice came one after another, and the tourists from all over the world were attracted by them.

The six corner Pavilion in front of the temple is for rest. On the right side of the temple and on the right side of Shanggang, the Tianyin tower is magnificent. It's refreshing to see the distant mountains and the near colors. The towering pagoda and the solemn immortal Temple reflect each other. There are orchards at the foot of the mountain, which are planted with citrus, litchi, peach and plum, Wulan, bamboo and Camellia oleifera. The flowers and fruits are yellow and fragrant, which is pleasing to the eye.

In today's Zhenshan, there is a newly built highway from four people to Zhaoqing passing through the front of the mountain. There is an endless stream of winners. Every Double Ninth Festival, tens of thousands of people climb the mountain.

The existing scenic spots have memorial archways, Wangxiang Pavilion, Zhenxian temple, Tianyin tower, Shangtong cascade Road, bamboo trees and mulberry trees, and commercial streets, hotels, sanatoriums and other tourist facilities in front of the mountain.

Every autumn, the natural scenery attracts a large number of "ginseng in the sky" - sparrow. After careful processing, it is a unique taste enjoyment.
