Jiulong peak
Jiulongfeng is located 14 kilometers east of Pingshan Town, Huidong County, Guangdong Province. It is said that nine dragons flew to the mountain ridges in Huidong. Later, people called the nine dragon shaped ridges "jiulongfeng".

The famous tourist attractions of jiulongfeng mountain are: stone stage, Qigen earth temple, Tan Gong temple, jiulongfeng ancestral temple, jiulongfeng natural mountain spring.
Stone stage
The stone stage, built in the Ming Dynasty, is located in the inner side of the Mountain Gate of the ancestral temple. It is a stone and wood structure with four corners, eaves and pavilions. The couplet is: "the mountain scenery wants to soar the dragon and tiger spirit, the pine wind is suspicious to bring the wind Luan sound.". The square in front of the stage can hold 1000 people. According to the "monument to tan gong'an at Jiulong peak", Tan Gong Temple plays every year and holds large temple fairs every five years.
Qigen earth Temple
There is an ancient banyan tree in Renshan town of Huidong County. Its air roots grow into a small house. The image of the house is lifelike. The side walls, window lattice, corrugation and eaves are all constructed by skillful craftsmen, which has become a rare spectacle.
It turns out that a hundred years ago, there was a temple under the banyan tree. Along the exterior wall and tile surface of the temple, the air roots of banyan gradually grow into the shape of a temple. As time goes on, the earth Temple collapses, and the shell of Qi root becomes the substitute of the earth temple.
Tan Gong Temple
Tan Gong temple, also known as Tan gong'an, was built in the late Yuan Dynasty and rebuilt in the third year of Daoguang reign of the Qing Dynasty. Tan gongzu temple is a square building with a side length of 20 meters. The buildings in the temple are exquisite and beautiful. The main hall is dedicated to the childhood statue of Tan Gong. On the right side of the ancestral temple, there is a small waterfall. The sound of the water is like the sound of a piano, and the water is like a silver chain. The Tangong cave under the waterfall is a wonder of "cave in cave". The outer hole is only 1 meter square, but the inner hole is large enough to accommodate a few shepherds, cattle and water.
There are more than ten temples and pavilions centered on Tan Gong ancestral temple. Jiulongfeng ancestral temple
Located 4 kilometers southeast of Pingshan in Huidong County, it is named for its nine ridges and dragons. There are more than 10 temples and pavilions centered around Tan Gong's ancestral temple. Longfeng ancestral temple, built in the ninth year of Xuande in Ming Dynasty (1434), which is 85 years after the death of Tan Gong, is "the cave of immortals". It should have been called "the temple of Tan Gong Zu". Because it was originally "the unity of Buddhism and Taoism" (the temple of Tan Gong and Guanyin), it has always been called "the temple of Longfeng Zu". The temple is built on the hillside of jiulongfeng mountain. It sits 21 degrees from south to North and East. Its head rests on Jianbi peak. On both sides of the ridge is slightly raised. There is a clear spring on the right side and a clear water on the abdomen. Facing the flat and rich "Tan Gong cave", shuangpi River and Xizhi River can be seen in the distance, so it is called "geomantic treasure land". Standing in front of the temple, you can have a panoramic view of the boundless scenery.
According to the epitaph of Tan gong'an at jiulongfeng, it is said that "Qianlong has not been (1739) In addition, the ancestral temple was built, and the hall above was for Guanyin, while the real person (Tan Gong) was worshipped in the main hall. That is "xianfo Tongan". From the mid autumn of Daoguang Guiwei year to the winter of Jiashen year (1823-1824), "the immortal Buddha is divided into two nunneries" and "the Guanyin nunnery is built in Zuoyan mountain, which is called Longtong Temple".
Longfeng ancestral temple, a rectangular structure, facing five bay, two deep, 23.65 meters wide, 21.4 meters deep, with a construction area of 506 square meters, a large patio in the middle, and corridors and small patios on both sides. It is a beam lifting structure on the top of a hard mountain, which is made of green bricks, glazed tiles and gneiss. Carrying beams and eaves, Carving Dragons and painting phoenixes, both carving and sculpture, the scenery is lifelike, lined with murals with classical legends, showing the splendid ancient culture of the Chinese nation. The couplet at the main entrance of the temple is: "the sound moves the tiger, the snake and the turtle, and the wind and rain show no bias". This is an image portrayal of the folk's worship of Tan Gong. In front of the temple, there is a pair of stone lions, one male and one female, with vivid shape, which is dignified and kind.
Tan Gong's Road Pavilion
Dedao Pavilion is the first temple pavilion with the most ancient architectural style in Jiulong peak. It sits southeast to northwest, behind a cluster of big rocks, northwest there is a small stone stream across. The pavilion was rebuilt in 1834, and it was rebuilt many times during 1912-1930 and 1984-1991, but the ancient charm still exists. The pavilion is square with a side length of 5.4 meters. It has a single eaves on the top of the hill and is covered with blue glazed tiles. The top of the pavilion is supported by six square and octagonal stone pillars respectively. There are flower and bird screens on both sides of the main eaves, which are exquisitely carved. There is a large round window on the back wall, in the middle of which stands a carved stone tablet of "Tan Gong De Dao historic site" (the original tablet has been broken, but what we see now is a later imitation, 178 cm high and 34 cm wide) The couplet of the pavilion is "Tao Xie Tian Ren went away when he was young, and sang Zi will return when he crosses the crane.".
Wenchang Palace
Wenchang palace is located in the south of jiulongfeng ancestral temple. It is built in two stages according to the mountain situation, with a grade difference of 3.1 meters. It sits on the top of a hard mountain, 5 degrees from south to North and West. It has a beam lifting frame, three bays, two depths, a width of 8.1 meters, a total depth of 16.5 meters, and a construction area of 134 square meters. It was built in 1684, the 23rd year of Emperor Kangxi of Qing Dynasty. It was overhauled in 1984. In addition to maintaining the original architectural style, some wall murals were added to make the atmosphere of praying for cultural prosperity stronger. The couplet of "Li men" on the right side of the couplet is: "the color pen used to be dry in the past, and the humanities came from this time.".
In Wenchang palace, according to the traditional practice, the main god worshipped is "Wenchang emperor". However, there are statues of Confucius on the left, with the statues of Mencius, Yanyuan, Zengshen, Chenghao and Zhuxi on the left. On the right is the statue of "Kuixing diandou".

Jiulongfeng golden turtle
