The two pagodas of mengwo Buddhist temple in Jinggu Dai and Yi Autonomous County are called "Meihe wo Guangmeng" and "Guangmeng he wo Mei" in Dai language, commonly known as Shubao Tata Bao Shu.
The two pagodas of mengwo Buddhist temple are located in Dazhai, Weiyuan town. They are the official Buddhist temple of the past. They have Mountain Gate, side gate, twin pagodas, ring hall, main hall and monk's room, covering an area of 3.335 hectares.
brief introduction
This building complex was built by Han officials of Dai nationality in Weiyuan during the late Ming and early Qing Dynasty (1628-1661). This twin pagoda is a Buddhist Temple Pagoda of the Dai nationality in the upper seat of the Southern Buddhism. The pagoda is made of red sandstone, a multi-layered xumizuo in the shape of "Yanglian Fulian". It is called "maowuwonan" (lotus seat) in the Dai language. It has a square base, 4 meters in each side. There are relief patterns on the cornerstone, four "aixiangnong" (Hercules) stone carvings at the four corners as the support of the pagoda columns, and the upper part of the pagoda is made of blue brick vertical linked columns.
Shubao pagoda is 6 stories, 10.74 meters high, 7.2 meters high, the upper part is circular arc, the Tasha has been replaced by big trees, the distance between the two pagodas is 30 meters, the tree height is about twice that of the pagoda. The two pagodas are carved with Buddhist sutras and folklores of Dai nationality. They are objects for studying the religion, culture and history of the Dai nationality in Jinggu. They are of historical and artistic value. In August 1983, the people's Government of Jinggu County declared it a county-level cultural relics protection unit. In November 1993, the people's Government of Yunnan Province announced it as a provincial cultural relics protection unit.
Chinese and foreign tourists to Jinggu almost have to inquire about the location and see the marvelous double pagodas of mengwo Buddhist temple.

The two towers are on both sides of the main hall, parallel in north-south direction. On the body of the twin pagodas are relief stories of Buddhist scriptures and folklores of the Dai nationality. Carved with BA Ying (God of heaven), PA Zhao (Buddha), Hun he Weng GA Tan mu (Tang Monk's Sutra), Nan Mu Nuo Na (Peacock Princess), zhao shu Tun (Prince mengbanjia), Jin Na Li, Jin Na La (bird of God), Wu Yi San Da La (white elephant), Zhu Zage a (beggar's son), Nan Jin (crab girl), Zhi Wai Leng (shouting the moon), etc. Animal and plant flower reliefs include: De'en pendulum (inverted lion), re'an (flying dragon), mami (flying horse), nuoyong (Peacock), ge'an (red deer), xudawan (sunflower), nanmudao (gourd), wuergui (banana leaf), maowuwo (Lotus), LeYang (Taiyang), Yian (teapot), etc. they are objects for studying the religion, culture and history of the Dai nationality in Jinggu, with historical and artistic value. Surrounded by green trees, the twin towers will make visitors feel the natural scenery and the breath of history.
