Ouqu folk custom museum
Ouqu folk custom museum is located in ouqu village, Xixi township. It has "six floors and one tomb", namely "coin building", "antique building", "stone building", "cultivation and reading building", "martial arts building", "martyr building" and "martyr tomb". It shows the history and humanities, ancient coins, world hard currency, ancient and modern calligraphy and painting, arts and crafts, ancient wedding supplies, the history of lamp changes, the whole process of weaving, farming and reading heirs, folk treasure collection, ancient house style, celebrity's former residence, martial arts, orthopedics, martyrs and other folk culture. At present, there are more than 1000 cultural relics in the collection, most of which are donated by villagers, many of which are important national and provincial cultural relics.
Introduction to the Museum
All the buildings and facilities of the museum are original, antique and full of interest.
Antique building
It is a courtyard built in 1796. The front hall has a wide view, the back hall is full of flowers, the spring is flowing, and the interior and exterior walls extend in all directions. There are more than 500 pieces of ancient utensils, ceramics, farm tools, etc. collected by the villagers themselves in the house. The big one is like a water mill, and the small one is like a stone lock. There are many patterns on them, which shows the outstanding spirit of the predecessors' hard work.
Coin house
More than 300 and 800 coins from the spring and autumn and Warring States period to the period before liberation were collected, as well as coins from 111 countries and banknotes from 120 countries.
Farm reading building
It is a typical courtyard building in Qing Dynasty. Built in 1796, it has a history of more than 200 years, covering an area of 1950 square meters, with 31 houses and five halls. Site selection, design and technology are very unique and exquisite. Upstairs is the school hall, displaying ancient desks and chairs, heartless bamboo, four books and five classics, fully showing the feudal society's farming and reading heritage.
Martial arts building
There are swords, guns, sticks, and 18 kinds of martial arts. The Qinglong Yanyue sword won by the people of the martial arts examination is intact. The martial arts performance routines are complete, and the martial arts are clear. It can be called "Wudang Mountain" in Wenzhou.
Martyrs building
When the martyrs died, more than 30 senior generals of the Kuomintang, such as Chiang Kai Shek, Song Ziwen, Zhang Zhizhong and Sun Ke, wrote inscriptions for them.
Related history
Ouqu, with beautiful scenery and excellent characters, is a famous martial arts hometown in southern Zhejiang and one of the birthplaces of Nanquan in China.
As far back as the Southern Song Dynasty, there was a local practice of martial arts. Ouqu Kung Fu was famous for a time, and many martial arts families emerged. Wu Chengqiu and his younger brother Wu Chengxuan (1873) in the late Qing Dynasty were among the martial arts examinees, and his son Shanqing (1897) was also among the martial arts examinees. Shanqing's prize is two green dragon Yanyue knives, weighing 120 Jin (one still exists). There are many people in this place, including one champion, three Jinshi, two Wuju, more than 60 Gongsheng and Xiucai.
