Shoushan Park
Shoushan is located in the southwest of Kaohsiung City. It is a South-North coral reef hilly land, formerly known as Qilin mountain, burin mountain, Dagu Mountain or Dagu Mountain. It is a natural landmark of Kaohsiung City. It is the original residence of the early Pingpu Dagou community.

There are many scenic spots on the mountain, such as wanshoushan Park, Zhonglie temple, zoo, Qianguang temple, faxing temple, Yuanheng temple and so on. Along the path beside Shoushan zoo, you can get to the limestone cave area of Shoushan scenic spot. Follow the zigzag and narrow limestone cave, you can see stalactite crystals such as stalagmites and pillars.
The martyr's temple beside Shoushan park is a Chinese palace style building dedicated to the shrine of national revolutionary martyrs. It is surrounded by dense green forests on both sides. In front of the temple, there are ancient pine trees and two Qing Dynasty cannons for people to hang on. Its location is very high. It is one of the best places to overlook Kaohsiung port and the urban area.

Shoushan park has a "Taiwan macaque nature reserve". Groups of macaques shuttle through the trees to enjoy the agility of monkeys. In addition to the lovely macaques, there are also large mammals, reptiles, birds and other rare animals in wanshoushan zoo, and there is a huge mosaic mural in Shoushan zoo.
