Ninghai forest hot spring, commonly known as tianmingshan Nanxi hot spring, has a temperature of 49.5 ℃ and is rich in more than 20 minerals and trace elements beneficial to human body, such as radon, lithium and fluorine. It is one of the three famous hot springs in China.

Hot spring

Forest hot spring is located in Shenwan Town, Ninghai County, 25km away from the county. Since 1960, under the personal leadership of Jiang Hua, former Secretary of Zhejiang provincial Party committee, the sanatorium of the provincial government was built in 1994. In 1964, Mr. Guo Moruo inscribed "tianmingshan Nanxi hot spring". More than 340 species of secondary evergreen broad-leaved forest have been formed after closing hillsides for afforestation for nearly 50 years. It was approved as a national forest park by the Ministry of forestry in 1991. Master Pan Tianshou's poem "kouzhan" says: "if you don't have leisure for ten years, you will return your hometown if you like today. The new hot spring water is suitable for bathing. I love to see autumn flowers all over the mountain.

Ninghai forest hot spring tourist area is surrounded by peaks and long canyons. There are three pools, nine waterfalls, eighteen streams and seventy-two peaks. It is a national AAAA Forest Park, with nearly 10000 mu broad-leaved trees, blocking the sky and the sun, forming a natural super "oxygen Valley". The temperature in summer is 3-5 ℃ lower than that in Hangzhou and Ningbo, and it is also a summer resort. Pan Tianshou, a great master of traditional Chinese painting, and Guo Moruo, a great scholar in the literary world, both left their original works. Ninghai Nanyuan hot spring villa and four-star Ninghai hot spring hotel built according to the five-star standard have been opened to the outside world, and the hot spring phase III project is under construction. Ninghai hot spring has become a tourist resort integrating leisure, vacation, physical therapy, entertainment and sightseeing, known as "the first forest hot spring in East China".

Scenic spots of Ninghai Forest Park:

Puji bridge: located at the intersection of Wolong Valley and Xianren valley. This is a single hole stone bridge with beautiful shape, scientific structure and simple shape. According to the inscription of Puji bridge, the bridge was built in 1874. Ningshao on the road and Taiwen on the road are the main roads.

Immortal Trail: from Puji bridge up the immortal Valley, we can see the immortal trail scenic spot. This is a pair of footprints with a large distance, walking down, deeply imprinted on the rocks by the stream. According to legend, it is the footprints left by the immortal. Maybe the immortal is also intoxicated with the scenery here and forgets to return them.

Jianmen. Not far up the immortal trail, there are two rock faces, which are as lifelike as swords.

Yanghu Cave: from Wolong Valley up more than 200 meters, and then turn left up the mountain not far, you will arrive. The cave is about 10 square meters wide, with a few meters high inside. It is said that Yang Hu, the Minister of the Western Jin Dynasty, went south with Emperor Wu of the Jin Dynasty and planned to destroy Wu. He once stationed his troops here and comforted him. There is also a folk legend of winding in the cave. It is similar to other legends about borrowing bowls.

Monkey peak Pavilion: looking north from the hot spring hotel, on the cliff 100 meters above the head, there is a pavilion built in the air, just like a naughty monkey climbing and playing on the abrupt peak rock. Also on the pavilion is a plaque entitled "monkey peak Pavilion" by Yan Keats, vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress.

Yingtianchi: not far from the upstream of the hotel. Rippling blue waves in the lake, the pavilion in the center of the lake, the pavilion in the viewing pool, the high-altitude cable bridge and the self rowing boat complement each other. It is a natural landscape painting. If you like rowing, you can also experience the real fun of "in the bright mirror of rowing, birds in the painting screen".

Ninghai forest hot spring self driving route:

Starting from Shanghai: take the Hangzhou Bay Cross Sea Bridge. If you get out of the Hangzhou Bay Cross Sea Bridge and continue to take the connecting line of Hangzhou Bay Bridge, you can turn to Ningbo Ring Expressway, then turn to Ningbo Taiwen Expressway (i.e. Tongsan Expressway), get off the expressway at the exit of Ninghai and Xiangshan in Ninghai, then turn around and drive to Shenwan town. After passing Shenwan Town, you can continue to drive to hot spring. You will arrive in a few minutes. Ninghai exit to Ninghai County. Or take an exit ahead of time, get off the highway in Xidian and drive straight ahead, 20 minutes to Ninghai hot spring. The total journey takes 3-4 hours.

Starting from Ningbo: it can be the same as Shanghai after going to Ningbo Taizhou Wenzhou expressway.

Starting from Hangzhou: Take Hangzhou Ningbo Expressway, after passing Dayin, take Ningbo around the city (Taizhou Wenzhou direction), and after entering Ningbo Taizhou Wenzhou Expressway (i.e. the same three expressways), it is the same as Shanghai.

Starting from Wenzhou: after taking the Ningbo Taizhou Wenzhou Expressway (i.e. the same three expressways), it is the same as Shanghai, and the total journey takes 3-4 hours.

Note: get off the expressway at Ninghai / Xiangshan exit, turn right at the exit and enter the direction of Ninghai hot spring. After passing Shenwan town of Ninghai, continue to drive to the direction of hot spring for 5 minutes. (don't get off at ninghainan or ninghaibei exit)
