When the Yellow River comes out of Liujiaxia, it turns to the West and forms a man-made lake in front of the Yanguoxia dam. Because it looks like Taiji, it is called Taiji lake. Taiji lake is a famous bird island in Gansu Province. There are 9 islands, large and small, with lush reeds, 38 species of Swan, grey goose and more than 20000 migratory birds. This is the largest natural wetland in the upper reaches of the Yellow River. It was listed as the Yellow River Three Gorges Wetland Nature Reserve in Gansu Province in January 1995. Ganggou temple on the southwest Bank of Taiji lake has dense trees and magnificent mountains. Every year on the 2nd and 3rd of April in the lunar calendar, there is not only a flourishing fragrance, but also a "Hua'er" Song Festival, which attracts people from the four townships to visit. Along the Taiji lake, Yanguoxia Hydropower Station, another pearl in the upper reaches of the Yellow River, is showing its outstanding style. Together with Liujiaxia hydropower station, it has become a landmark landscape of modern civilization in the Three Gorges of the Yellow River. The Yanguoxia Hydropower Station was built in September 1958 with a total design installed capacity of 352000 kW. In November 1961, the first unit generated electricity. In Laohukou, adjacent to the upstream of Yanguoxia Hydropower Station, there are rare large-scale dinosaur footprints in the world. These dinosaur footprints were formed in the Jurassic or early Cretaceous, and have a history of more than 170 million years. They are rare in the world for their large scale, many species, well preserved, high definition, strong three-dimensional sense and multi-level appearance. Some of them are the largest dinosaur footprints found in the world. The environmental conditions for the formation of dinosaur footprints are special, and the morphology, arrangement and combination of dinosaur footprints can truly reflect a considerable part of the physiological characteristics and living habits of dinosaurs. According to the remains of dinosaur footprints fossil group in Liujiaxia, experts believe that the environment at that time should have been exposed on the surface of the lake, which contained a certain amount of sediment. Because it was exposed on the surface, it gradually dehydrated and was in a semi wet and semi dry state. When dinosaurs walked, the footprints left could be formed. The dinosaurs that left these footprints belong to giant sauropod dinosaurs, small sauropod dinosaurs and Xugu dinosaurs. There are three types of dinosaur footprints. The first kind of footprints are oval in shape with obvious footprints. The largest group of footprints is 150 cm in length, 120 cm in width, 375 cm in stride length and 345 cm in lateral space. At that time, it was almost certain that it was the largest group of dinosaur footprints found in the world. In the second type, the posterior foot is truncated, 76 × 60 cm in size, and the anterior foot is semicircular, 49 × 40 cm in size. The third kind of footprints is three toed, the middle toe is the longest, about 25 cm, about 6 cm wide, and the opening angle between the toes is between 30 ° and 40 °. The heel is round, about 10 cm in diameter, and the toe tip is pointed, which may belong to the footprints of carnivorous dinosaurs. Liujiaxia dinosaur footprints fossil is of great scientific research and popular science value, and is also a very rare and precious natural landscape. In November 2001, it was approved by Gansu provincial government to establish "Liujiaxia Cretaceous dinosaur footprint group provincial nature reserve". It was listed as the second batch of national geoparks on February 28, 2002. In October 2005, the monument of Liujiaxia Dinosaur National Geopark was opened. Dinosaur footprints have added infinite charm to the Three Gorges of the Yellow River. The Three Gorges of the Yellow River has not only unlimited scenery, but also rich and colorful cultural relics. The long history and unique geographical environment have created the profound and profound cultural deposits of the Three Gorges of the Yellow River. Yangshao culture, Qijia culture and Majiayao culture sites are all over the Yellow River. The ancient city of Han and Tang Dynasties is well-known in history. The Great Wall, beacon towers and ancient ferries still reflect the waves of the Yellow River. Nuo dance, known as the "living fossil" of drama, is a unique folk song "Hua'er" in the western plateau, as well as popular folk art such as Yangko song and Xianxiao. In March 2004, it was listed as the United Nations folk song inspection base. Because of the agricultural culture and high quality of the Central Plains
