Baiyunjian
Baiyunjian, located in Wuyanling National Nature Reserve in the northwest of Taishun County, belongs to Donggong mountain range. At the junction of Taishun and Jingning, it is the highest peak in southern Zhejiang and the highest peak in Wenzhou, known as "Wenzhou Everest". Baiyunjian is the source of the Feiyun River. Due to the large mountain, it is difficult to show its face because it is shrouded by flying clouds and fog all the year round. It is like a floating white cloud, so it gets its name.
brief introduction
Baiyunjian, the main peak in Wuyanling, is 1611.3 meters above sea level, the highest in southern Zhejiang and the seventh highest in Zhejiang Province. Wuyanling National Nature Reserve is known as "natural gene bank of biological provenance" and "green ecological museum". There are 2150 species of plants and 342 species of animals, including more than 50 species of national key protected animals such as Tragopan and 21 species of fragrant fruit trees. The forest vegetation structure is complete and typical, which is one of the best preserved subtropical evergreen broad-leaved forests in eastern China. The environmental quality of the whole reserve protects the natural "background". In the territory, the peaks are tall and straight, the mountains are clear and the valley is quiet. Stepping into the vast primeval forest, it's like entering another world, climbing on baiyunjian, the highest peak in southern Zhejiang, with an altitude of 1611 meters, you can overlook the beautiful scenery of Ouyue. (baiyunjian is located in the west of the reserve, at the junction of Taishun County. There are many peaks in the area, among which baiyunjian is the most. The peak is often in the fog. Standing on the peak, you can see the vast sea of clouds, which makes you feel reverie. On a sunny day, you can see the scenery from afar. Baiyunjian is the birthplace of Feiyun River. The four seasons in Wuyanling are very interesting.) The main landscapes are baiyunjian, baiyunbao, Longtan waterfall, yellow bellied horned pheasant, etc.
Climbing season
Baiyunjian is the main peak of Wuyanling National Nature Reserve, with an altitude of 1611 meters. It is the first peak in Wenzhou City and the seventh peak in Zhejiang Province. The best months to climb baiyunjian are May and June, October and November. In May and June, most of the flowers are open, and the mountains become a sea of flowers. In October and November, autumn is fresh, and you can see from afar. After the Mid Autumn Festival, the sky is high and the rain is sparse, which is the best season to climb the baiyunjian.
Scenery
From the management office to dashanya, you can experience the primeval forest landscape through the primeval forest of streams. Enter the mountain along the footpath at the intersection of the guest house, and you will soon hear the sound of gurgling water. This stream is the main source of Baiyun stream and one of the main sources of Feiyun River. At this time, the trail came to the end, replaced by a primitive mountain road. The old trees on both sides of the mountain road are inclined to cover the sky and block out the sun. The thick withered leaves at the foot are soft and have a strange feeling. Just when you are intoxicated, a roar comes from the left side in front of you. Through the dark jungle, a waterfall faces the cliff. This is the famous Baiyun waterfall in Wuyanling. Baiyun waterfall falls from a cliff more than 30 meters high and directly smashes into the pool below.
Continue to go up, the mountain road is more and more steep, and soon the stream disappears into the dense forest on the left, and the top of the head is gradually bright, and the original primitive forest has become a dense cedar forest. Through the cedar forest, you will soon arrive at dashanya at the junction of Taishun and Jingning. The opposite side of dashanya is a downhill road leading to feiyunyuan in the direction of Jingning. The steep fire lane on the left is the passage leading to baiyunjian. Looking up, it seems to lead to the sky.
Compared with the original Creek and jungle path, the real test is to climb the fire lane. There are three layers of fire prevention road, one of which is the longest, steepest and dangerous. After the other, the top of white clouds is in sight. At this time, you don't have to rush to the top. You can sit down by the fire lane, move your eyes to the valley, and let your thoughts swing with the flying clouds. Due to the abundant water and air, the temperature difference between the surface and the air is large, so the clouds and fog in Wuyanling are very thick, rising and shuttling very fast. Just as it was a high mountain, it suddenly became an island. Along the fire road, on the second or third stack, you will reach the peak of baiyunjian. Standing on the top of the mountain, the white clouds are rolling under the feet. The mountain in the distance only shows its head, just like a few sailboats floating in the white sea.
In the process of climbing for more than three hours, please don't walk with your head down, because when you look up, delicious wild fruits may be in front of you, especially wild kiwifruit. There are two kinds of wild kiwifruit, one is hairless kiwifruit, the size of a table tennis ball, round; the other is relatively rare, long cylindrical, slightly thicker than the thumb, covered with a layer of white fluff. If you can meet kiwifruit, it's worth the trip!
