Wulong Temple
Wulong temple is located in Baihu village, Helou Township, Langzhong City, Sichuan Province. It is a single eaves Xieshan style roof covered by cloth tube tiles. It has three wide surfaces, and the side feet of eaves columns are obvious. Under the front eaves, six pavilions are made to form a bucket arch and two cantilevers are formed. The first cantilevered melon seed arch is carved as an airfoil, and the second cantilevered Chinese arch has oblique arches on the left and right, which is very unique.
structure
The material of the bucket arch is thick, the lifting and folding of the beam frame is small, and the roof is flat. The materials of the four eaves columns are relatively large. The whole building not only has some architectural features in the Song Dynasty's "building French style", but also has obvious local characteristics. The "fork hand" materials are rare in the same period, and the "grass burden" and log rafters are kept between the left and right. The building is beautiful in shape and large in style, similar to the Wulong temple in Shanxi.
present situation
Although the Wenchang Pavilion of Wulong temple only has the back hall, it is a rare building of Yuan Dynasty. Now it is a key cultural relic protection unit in China.
