Oakley Hill

Aokelidui mountain, 1523 meters above sea level, is the highest mountain in the north of the main vein of the Great Xing'an Mountains. Oakidui is Oroqen, which means "bald hill". Its mountain shape is round and symmetrical, just like the famous Fuji Mountain in Japan. It is outstanding among the mountains.

Oaklidui mountain is located 30 km northeast of Alongshan Town, Genhe City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, 177.5 km away from Genhe City, 51 ° 50 ′ 38.20 ″ N and 122 ° 2 ′ 12.30 ″ E. "Aokelidui mountain" is the Oroqen language, translated as "xueshiyan peak", which also means "bald top mountain". With an altitude of 1523 meters, it is one of the highest peaks in the Daxinganling forest region of Inner Mongolia. It is famous for the discovery of ancient glacier relics on the top of the mountain. (Note: the highest peak in the north of Daxinganling Mountains is Dabai mountain, with an altitude of 1528 meters. It is located in the yilehuli mountains, a branch of the Great Xing'an Mountains.)

The vegetation of the whole mountain is distributed in a ladder shape, and the main plant community types are lichen moss Larix gmelinii forest, Betula platyphylla Larix gmelinii forest, littoral Larix gmelinii forest, Populus sylvestris forest, Betula platyphylla shrub, Calamagrostis angustifolia meadow and Carex marsh.

At the foot of the mountain is a wetland full of shrubs and weeds. There is a clear spring on the hillside, which has been bubbling for many years. The spring water is cold and sweet, and it is refreshing to drink. There is a path beside the spring, which is paved with volcanic rock sheets along the mountain, zigzag and scattered, reaching the top of the mountain. There is an old crater at the top of the mountain, about 20 meters in diameter. Climbing to the top of the mountain and overlooking the virgin forest of Daxing'an Mountains, everyone who yearns for nature will be shocked. The snow on the top of the mountain is not melting all the year round. The average annual snow storage period is more than 240 days, and the snow is thick and pure. There is no man-made building or scenic spot, and there is no trace of environmental pollution. Wild animals come in and out frequently. You can easily see reindeer, roe deer, rabbits, flying dragons and other rare wild animals here. In winter, the whole Aoshan is a pure and pure natural ecology, a simple and pure nature.

Branches stretch out from the roots, like blooming lotus flowers, long needles green, pinecones are in the process of breeding, like delicate pagodas.
