Zhejiang Hangzhou Bay National Wetland Park is located in the northwest of Hangzhou Bay New Area in Ningbo City and the west side of the South Bank of Hangzhou Bay Cross Sea Bridge. It is an important national wetland in Andong swamp area. The park is mainly composed of shallow waters, muddy beaches, intertidal salt marshes and aquaculture farms, with a total area of 6376.69 hectares. The area belongs to Andong beach, one of the eight saline alkali wetlands in China. It is a world-class bird watching resort. The project is the first project of the East Asia land sea pollution reduction fund supported by the global environment facility (GEF) and the world bank. It is a wetland ecological protection and tourism area integrating wetland restoration, wetland research and environmental education.

Zhejiang Hangzhou Bay National Wetland Park is located in the northwest of Hangzhou Bay New District, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province, on the west side of Hangzhou Bay Cross Sea Bridge and the west side of Hangzhou Bay Cross Sea Bridge Administration Bureau, 1000 meters, 5 kilometers away from the east exit of angdong (No. 1416) of G15 national highway network.
Resources
Wetland is rich in bird resources. It is an important transit station for migratory birds to migrate from Siberia to Australia. At present, more than 220 species of birds have been recorded, belonging to 18 orders and 45 families, including near-risk bird species, such as green headed diving duck, rib duck, black tailed stilt, white rumped Curlew, big Curlew and Sinian javanica Finch, fragile bird species, such as curly feathered pelican, Relict Gull and yellow breasted Plover. It is also listed in the national key protected wildlife list They are common minnows, kestrel, ring necked pheasant and Curlew. Egrets have the largest number, egrets, herons, night herons, egrets fly together, let you really feel the spectacular egret paradise, in addition, there are ring necked bunting, golden eye bunting, social shoal; Red Headed Gull, green footed snipe, flying. There are abundant plant resources and many aquatic plants, such as Lythrum chinense, iris flaviflorum, zailihua, Acorus calamus, cattail, Eclipta and water lily.
Main attractions
1. Milu deer: when you reach the wharf, you can see the waterfowl habitat on the right. The wetland has set up a two kilometer long water plank road in this area. There are 10 elk in the northwest corner of the area. Visitors can enjoy the leisurely life of elk.
2. Bisha Heron: there are large areas of water and land islands, from the plane, the shape is better than a egret standing on the water looking for food.
3. Jinghua sleeps in the moon: in the treatment wetland area, you can see the plants used for biological purification through a water plank road. There are mainly water lilies, cattail, zailihua, yellow iris, etc.
4. Wupeng Qiaofeng: when you enter the wetland, you need to take a wupeng boat to shuttle through the winding river and open water.
5. Lin Guangdan's painting: it is located in egret breeding area and forest wetland area. There are 67 species of trees in this area, including Salix, coralline, mulberry, gingko, Gossypium, weeping willow, etc.
6. Jianjia autumn snow: continue to move forward, lush reed forest present in front of us. If in late autumn, the eyes of flying catkins of reed flowers on the slightly yellow reeds.
7. Water corridor manhui: located in the wetland botanical garden, the botanical garden is equipped with a transparent and tortuous glass corridor extending in all directions. Walking on it, the underwater view of the wetland is presented one by one.
8. Swan Xihui: next, you can see groups of swans swimming and frolicking on the water bank. If you are lucky, you can see the scene of Swan courtship.
9. River shadow flower language: turtle shell like rain garden. The garden is symmetrically arranged along the central axis of the building. The whole rainwater garden adopts a regular belt ladder planting mode, which plants all kinds of hygrophytic and aquatic plants together, forming an interesting spiral surrounding system.
10. Nest Sandpiper: This is a forest wetland, where 131 species of birds live. Every evening, as the sun sets, Snipes return to their nests, and the woods darken and sing up and down.

Hangzhou Bay Wetland Park was officially opened to the public on June 18, 2010;
On December 15, 2011, the National Wetland Park was approved as a pilot project with a total area of 470 hectares;
In 2013, it was named Ningbo popular science education base;
In 2014, it was listed as the national comprehensive demonstration practice base and named as the resource base of social practice class for primary and secondary school students in Ningbo;
In 2015, it was named the science popularization education base of Zhejiang Province;
In 2016, with the approval of the State Forestry Administration, the planning scope of the wetland park was adjusted to a total area of 6376.69 hectares, which was expanded by 13.6 times.
In 2016, it was identified as a provincial ecotourism demonstration area;
In February 2017, Hangzhou Bay Wetland Park was awarded the honorary title of "Zhejiang green development demonstration base of the two United States". The wetland park also won the titles of "top ten most beautiful wetlands in Zhejiang" and "two beautiful experience places with Zhejiang characteristics";
In December 2017, the State Forestry Administration issued the notice on the acceptance of the pilot National Wetland Park in 2017, and Hangzhou Bay Wetland Park in Zhejiang Province passed the acceptance and was officially listed as "National Wetland Park".
