Standing in Chaoyang Street of huang'ao Town, looking east, you can see Guiyan peak on the opposite ridge. The Turtle Rock, which is made up of two huge stones, is very similar to a tortoise crawling forward slowly. It seems that when it reaches the top of the mountain, it is finished. It does not need to move forward any more, but faces the East, standing still and bathing in the sunshine. It is said that turtle rock was formed by the drop of turtle eggs played by the queen mother in the sky. The queen mother immediately took up a basin of fairy water and poured it down, so that the turtle stood still and became Turtle Rock. Because the turtle back was watered, it was washed into a pool. Up to now, the pool on the turtle rock back has not dried up for many years. Guiyan is 335 meters above sea level, with steep cliffs in the West and flat ground in the south. There are temples and fragrant incense.

Stone monk is like a stone carving monk, with distinct features and beads around his neck. According to folklore, he is Bao Yan's incarnation. Someone once wrote a poem for "stone monk" saying: "when was an old Buddhist monk barefoot and bald head? He never recited the Buddha, never died, never lived, never went to heaven.".

Tourism information

Wenzhou coastal passenger transport center (east of anlanting wharf) has a high-speed passenger ship (50 yuan) to ma'aotan scenic spot at 8:00 every day. The ship from Damaiyu at 9:00 to Dongtou and the ship from Dongtou at 14:00 to Damaiyu pass through Ting ma'ao tan. In addition, you can also take a boat to the gate, and then take the island bus, which takes about 20 minutes.
