It is located at the foot of Maling mountain and covers a total area of 12.7 square kilometers. It is known as "Xishuangbanna in Northern Jiangsu". It is a comprehensive forest park integrating natural landscape sightseeing, cultural and artistic experience, forest leisure, popular science education, sports and fitness. The scenic area is composed of mountains and rivers, and the sea of flowers is rippling, forming a "one core, three areas and many spots" landscape belt, that is, taking the ecological landscape as the core, it is divided into three areas: Forest sightseeing area, forest leisure area and Forest Resort area, among which many spots are distributed, and it is famous for its "eight most beautiful sceneries". The main scenic spots are: Qingcui lake, Meiyuan, Xiangsi Lake, Tianhe tower, Jinghu Lake and Kita.

Santai Mountain National Forest Park takes "the most beautiful ecology, the eternal fashion" as the planning and development concept, and "the mountain, the water, and the farmland" as the image positioning, which is divided into three areas: Forest sightseeing area, forest leisure area, and Forest Resort area. There are scenery in four seasons: in spring, I see the sea of flowers in the field, in summer, I see the wind lotus in Qushui, in autumn, I enjoy the love of red maple, and in winter, I come to Meicun to cook snow. The most beautiful forest, the most beautiful red leaves, the most beautiful architecture, the most beautiful stream, the most beautiful patchwork, the most beautiful road, the most beautiful bridge, the most beautiful purple stone and other eight most beautiful series, weaving a beautiful picture scroll with beautiful artistic conception, romantic warmth and harmonious coexistence between man and nature. In the park with an area of 12.7 square kilometers, the trees are ancient and verdant, vigorous and towering, the forest coverage rate reaches 98%, and the negative oxygen ion content is as high as 20000 per cubic centimeter, far exceeding that of ordinary parks and urban areas.

The unique "flower sea of patching fields" in the park, with a total area of 2220 mu, is made up of 612 flower fields. It combines the vigor of dry terraces in the north and the beauty of water terraces in the south. More than 50 kinds of flowers are planted here, forming yellow, red and purple areas from south to north, showing the state of embracing all rivers and the beauty of inclusiveness. Standing on the 2.3-kilometer-long rainbow bridge, overlooking the sea of flowers, listening to the flowers bloom and fall, smelling the rich fragrance, and feeling the strong feelings of hometown.

Since the trial opening of the park on May 1 and the official opening of the park on November 11 in 2015, the scenic spot has attracted tourists from both inside and outside the city with its unique scenery and scenery.
