Former residence Park of Zhang Jingsheng

Zhang Jingsheng's former residence park is located in darongpu village, Fubin Town, Raoping County, the "hometown of Dancong tea in Lingtou, China", which is the former residence of Dr. Zhang Jingsheng. It is about 2km away from the town and covers an area of more than 40 mu. It is mainly composed of two exhibition areas: "former residence of Dr. Zhang Jingsheng" and "sex culture education base".

Park overview

The former residence of Zhang Jingsheng was destroyed in 1965 and is now rebuilt according to its original appearance. The old pavilions, lotus ponds, ancient wells, flower beds and trees have been restored. The granite statue of Dr. Zhang Jingsheng has been added. The exhibition hall of Dr. Zhang Jingsheng's life has been carefully set up. The life experience and legend of Dr. Zhang Jingsheng are introduced in detail.

The sex culture exhibition room is divided into three parts: picture and text exhibition, sex appliance exhibition and video exhibition. It mainly introduces Zhang Jingsheng's sexology thought, population and birth control concept, as well as the history of sex culture, sex knowledge education, reproductive health, eugenics, contraception and birth control at all times and in all countries It is rich in content.

Take shape

At present, the construction of Zhang Jingsheng's former residence park has begun to take shape. We have completed the construction of the old residence, park wall, exhibition hall and comprehensive exhibition building. Next, we plan to continue to raise funds, complete the construction of service facilities and stone sculptures, so as to lay a good foundation for better playing the celebrity effect, creating a characteristic cultural tourism brand and attracting investment.

Doctor's profile

Zhang Jingsheng (1888-1970), formerly known as Zhang Jiangliu and Zhang Gongshi, was born in Raoping, Guangdong Province. In the 1920s and 1930s, philosophers, sexologists, sociologists, aestheticians, writers, educators and Ph.D. of Lyon University were the most prominent figures in China's ideological and cultural circles. In 1970, he studied late at night and died. He was 82 years old.

Dr. Zhang Jingsheng is known as the first person in Chinese sexology, the first person in China's family planning and the first person in China's love discussion. He is one of the "three great literary demons" in China in the 1920s.
