Tozamin Township
Tuozamin is Oroqen language, "Tuo" refers to Tuohe, "Zamin" Oroqen language means "road", and "tuozamin" means "Tuohe road". Tuozamin township is under the administrative jurisdiction of Olunchun Autonomous Banner, Hulunbuir City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, 120 km away from Alihe Town, the capital of Olunchun Autonomous Banner, with a total population of 1827 (2017) and a total area of 2400 square kilometers. It governs 4 villages and 1 neighborhood (including 2 administrative villages, 2 hunting villages and 1 neighborhood committee). There is a tozamin primary school and a health center.
In 2006, Jiwen town was merged with tuozamin town to form tuozamin town. The government is located in Jiwen town. The former tuozamin town was changed into Tuohe office. In 2008, Tuohe office was separated from tuozamin town. In 2011, tuozamin town was restored to township system.
Historical evolution
The early days of the founding of the people's Republic of China
In 1691, the Qing government established the eight banners of butha, also known as the eight banners of Daji, and incorporated the Oroqen hunters into the eight banners of the Qing Dynasty. In 1871, the Oroqen people were divided into five roads and eight assistants according to the rivers they lived in. Tuohe road was set up in Tuohe River Basin (mainly in today's tuozamin township), and yizuo was set up under the jurisdiction of "anda" of butha governor Yamen. In the 19th year of Guangxu (1893), the fifth route eight assistant was changed into the fourth route eight banners sixteen assistant, and the first banner two assistant of Tuohe road was changed into the jurisdiction of Hulunbeier vice governor. After 1937, the administrative power along Tuohe road was directly controlled by the Japanese secret service, forcing the Oroqen youth to participate in the "mountain forest team", and the Japanese secret service sent "commanders" to directly control the mountain forest team and rule the Oroqen people. Japan surrendered in August 1945. In March 1946, the Hulunbeier autonomous government appointed the new army of Tuohe road as the head of Oroqen banner, which was in charge of the regional administration of Tuohe.
The late period of the founding of the people's Republic of China
In 1950, tozaminutuk was established, which is subordinate to Xigui Tuqi (now Yakeshi city), and is located in Yuanlin town. He moved to Zhuge Deli in 1954 and Longtou in 1956. In 1959, he moved to simuke and renamed tozamin nutuk as the Management Committee of tozamin Township People's commune. In 1965, the residence of the commune was moved from smoko to xizhetqi. In 1968, it was renamed the Revolutionary Committee of tozamin people's commune, and in 1981, it was renamed the Management Committee of tozamin people's commune. In 1984, the Management Committee of tozamin people's commune was renamed tozamin Township People's government.
In 2006, Jiwen town was merged with tuozamin town to form tuozamin town. The government is located in Jiwen town and tuozamin town was changed into Tuohe office. In 2008, Tuohe office was separated from tozamin town.
In 2011, the township system was restored in tozamin township.

The township now governs 4 administrative villages and 1 neighborhood committee. The four administrative villages are: mukui hunting village, xiriteqi hunting village, bolihe village and taolihan village.
There is Honghuaerji forest farm of Jiwen Forestry Bureau in the township.

Tuozamin township is located in the southern foot of Daxing'an Mountains, with vertical and horizontal valleys and undulating mountains. The terrain is high in the northwest and low in the southeast, and slowly inclines from northwest to Southeast. The altitude is 500-1000 meters. The Nuomin River, which originates from the south foot of longzui mountain on the east side of Daxing'an Mountains, flows through the territory from northwest to Southeast.
