Lazikou National Forest Park is located in the source area of Lazi River on the North Bank of Bailong River of Jialing River System in the Yangtze River Basin, the eastern edge of Qinghai Tibet Plateau, the North Branch of Minshan Mountain system and Dieshan mountain range. It belongs to Longnan mountain in the south of West Qinling tectonic belt.

Lazikou Forest Park was built in 1999 and was appraised as a National Forest Park in 2003. There are six scenic spots, tiechiliang, yixiantian, meilugou, laolonggou, lazihe and zhuligou, with a total area of 486 square kilometers. Lazikou is located in the mountainous and gorge zone of primeval forest in Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture. It is the place where the long march Lazikou campaign of the Red Army took place. It is rich in green forest ecology, natural landscape culture, long march red culture, regional ethnic culture and religious culture and other tourism resources. There are 6 scenic spots and 88 scenic spots planned in Lazikou National Forest Park, including 60 natural landscapes, accounting for 68.2%; 28 cultural landscapes, accounting for 31.8%; and 72 grade I and II scenic spots.

Development history

Lazikou Forest Park, which was founded in 1999, is one of the four national forest parks in Bailongjiang forest area. It belongs to Diebu Forestry Bureau of Bailongjiang forestry administration and was promoted to National Forest Park in 2003. Since the establishment of the park, Diebu Forestry Bureau has registered 44 categories and 95 pieces of "Lazikou" trademarks, compiled the master plan of Lazikou National Forest Park, built some scenic roads, communication facilities and tourist attractions, and carried out various publicity and promotion activities. Through development and construction, Lazikou is not only a patriotism education base and red tourist attraction in memory of the martyrs, but also a green tourist attraction with beautiful landscape. In 2005, the site of the battle of Lazikou in Diebu was included in the outline of the national red tourism development plan, and became one of the "100 classic red tourism scenic spots".

The park is 322 km away from Lanzhou City, 422 km away from Chengdu City, 54 km away from national highway 212 and 22 km away from provincial highway 313. The provincial Mindai highway runs through the whole area. "Lazikou" is Tibetan Chinese homonym, Lazi Tibetan means Shanqing, and Tibetan Chinese homonym means Shanqing.

In addition to the pine and fir forest in the cold winter, there are large areas of oak, birch, poplar, maple and other broad-leaved forests or mixed coniferous and broad-leaved forests . Tiechiliang scenic spot

Lazi River Scenic Spot

Changzhengqiao site

Cliffside inscription

The red army passed through Lazikou twice during the Long March, and wrote many slogans to clarify its political views. On many stone walls, stone walls and cliffs in the park, there are all kinds of propaganda slogans written by the Red Army in those days. Such as "going north to resist Japan and recapturing the lost land", "the Red Army is the team to protect the fanmin", "fighting against local tyrants and dividing the land" and so on. Balu Gorge
