Hequ Racecourse

Hequ horse farm is 20 kilometers away from the county seat. After it was built in 1958, it has become the cultivation center of Hequ horse. After years of construction by the staff of the horse farm, it has become one of the most characteristic scenic spots in Maqu. It is a typical grassland wetland ecological tourist area.

geographical position

Located in the northeast of qiaoke grassland 20 kilometers southeast of Maqu County, including wansaliva beach, Wenbao beach and qiaoke beach, it is known as "Hequ Water Margin".

Cause of formation

The Yellow River, which runs all the way to the southeast, is blocked by the uplift of Songpan plateau, which opens up another way to flow around the north, forming the largest ecological wetland in the first bend of the Yellow River.

Inside View

This is the hometown of hecuma, and also a paradise for rare animals, such as black necked Crane, white swan, yellow duck, yellow sheep, Tibetan gazelle and sika deer. The grassland is bright and serene. In the dam of Machang River, the water and sky are the same color, and the blue waves are rippling, forming the alpine grassland scenery with the characteristics of meander.
