Taiping Temple Pagoda
Taiping temple tower is located in the Experimental Primary School of Qishan County, Taiping Road, Qishan County, Shaanxi Province (the former site of Taiping Temple). It was built in the third year of Yuanyou in Song Dynasty (1088). It is an octagonal nine storey imitation wooden pavilion brick structure. Although it has been repaired many times in the past dynasties, its original appearance has not changed. On May 25, 2006, it was listed as the Sixth Batch of national key cultural relics protection units by the State Council.

To the south of Taiping Temple Pagoda, the eaves of the first to seventh floors of the pagoda are made of five pavilions with two hopping brackets, the eaves of the eighth floor are made of single hopping brackets, and the eaves of the ninth floor are made of bricks. On the second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh floors of the tower, the hidden columns are built with bricks on each side. The column head has a flat brace, and each side is divided into three bays.
In the middle of the East and west of the second and fourth floors, there is a ticket door opening, and the brick is used to make square false windows on both sides of the door opening; in the north, there are false doors and false windows. In the middle of the East and west of the third, fifth and sixth floors, there are vertical false doors, with horizontal false windows on both sides; in the middle of the South and north of the third and fifth floors, there are one ticket door hole. The balustrades on the eaves of the second floor of Taiping temple tower are decorated with three layers of lotus petals, while the balustrades on the third, fourth and fifth floors are not decorated.

Taiping Temple Pagoda is located in Qishan County, which is named for its construction in Taiping temple. Taiping temple has long been abandoned, the original site is now a primary school. Taiping Temple Pagoda was built in the third year of Yuanyou (1088 A.D.) of song zhezong. Although it has been repaired many times, its original appearance has not changed. The body of the tower is made of brick, and it is octagonal and eight storey, with a height of more than 30 meters. From the second floor, false windows and railings are hidden on each floor. Eaves are decorated with five shops to make double copy of the Dougong. There is a flat seat under the second tower, and there is only a false flat seat above. The bucket arch under the flat seat is two more on each side than that under the eaves. As the whole tower is densely arched, it is particularly beautiful and dignified.
Protection status
Taiping Temple Pagoda is located in Qishan County, Baoji City, Shaanxi Province. In 2013, Shaanxi Provincial Bureau of cultural relics appropriated a special fund of 75000 yuan to reinforce and repair the base, eaves and roof of Taiping temple tower, and added bluestone railings. On May 25, 2006, it was listed as the Sixth Batch of national key cultural relics protection units by the State Council.
