Tengyue Cultural Square is the landmark of Tengchong city and an important place for mass cultural and sports activities. Tengyue Cultural Square is divided into several parts, green square, Gaoligong Mountain mother sculpture, Tengyue three bridges, library, museum, cultural center and stadium.

The large bronze sculpture of Gaoligongshan mother reflects the construction theme and cultural taste of Tengyue Cultural Plaza. Gaoligong Mountain is a mountain system of the mangmangmang Kunlun Mountain, stretching hundreds of miles from the Qinghai Tibet Plateau along the western edge of Yunnan. It is majestic and magnificent, just like a huge barrier, standing in the East and north of Tengchong County. It is famous for its rare animal sanctuary, natural botanical garden and species gene bank. For thousands of years, it is like a simple, kind and experienced mother, caressing Tengchong, a land of natural wealth and nurturing the industrious and brave people. In the same way, the children of all ethnic groups who live and breed here have, from generation to generation, written a glorious chapter in history with their blood and sweat. In order to carry forward the Tengyue culture, let the children of Gaoligong Mountain never forget the great achievements of their ancestors, and let more people know Tengchong, understand Tengchong, and establish a new image of Tengchong, this statue was built. It is a symbol of the construction of Tengyue culture in the Tengyue culture square. Its implication is that the mother of Gaoligong Mountain gave birth to the magical and beautiful mountains and rivers of Tengchong and nurtured the heroes of Tengchong Female, Tengyue children also add luster to her. The project was completed in December 2001. The base of the sculpture, 58.45 meters in circumference, is the epitome of Tengchong's land area of 5845 square kilometers. The main sculpture is 12.9 meters high, which is one third of the altitude of the highest peak of Gaoligong Mountain.

The sculpture is composed of mother's head and six relief sculptures distributed on the mountain. It vividly reflects the historical events and the people with lofty ideals that have been shining for thousands of years. They have been permanently integrated into the broad mind of Gaoligong Mountain's mother, coexisting with mountains and rivers, and shining with the sun and the moon. On the northwest side of the sculpture is the legend of Yunnan Vietnam Tengchong, which is recorded in Sima Qian's historical records. It is a historical picture of the ancient Shu's arduous trek by the caravan on the poisoned road. On the front is a lively scene of jewelry trading downstairs of Wenxing jade mall. In the upper part of the south, there are statues of Li Gengen, the elder of the Republic of China, Zhang Wenguang, the leader of the Xinhai uprising, Ai Siqi, a famous Marxist New Scientist and Mao Yangdong's philosophy consultant. Xiajun is the heroic scene of the Chinese expeditionary army and allied soldiers' annihilation of the Japanese aggressors in the Tengchong campaign of the Anti Japanese war in western Yunnan. In the East and middle of Tengchong are famous scenic spots, such as volcano, Rehai, Heshun and the anti hegemony struggle of Qing bandits at the beginning of the founding of the people's Republic of China. On the left is Li Zhenguo's leading Tengchong's army and people to fight against the British Invaders. On the right is Zuo Xiaochen's leading Tengchong's army and people to fight against the British Invaders.

Tengyue three bridges

On the Tengyue river lie three garden stone arch bridges, whose piers, arches and bridge decks are all inlaid with volcanic stones, and the railings are inlaid with jade plates. The main bridge in the middle is called "Tianhe bridge". Tianhe means harmony between heaven and earth. It is also called Tianhe (milky way), which means harmony between heaven and earth. The side-by-side bridges are called "stop Cloud Bridge" and "Yongshun bridge". Stop cloud, stop cloud and fall moon, which is the friendship yearning for relatives and friends; Yongshun, which takes the meaning of long-term, smooth and harmonious, smooth weather. Tengyue three bridge is like "Changhong lying wave", connecting the East and west parts of the square into an organic whole.

The east bank square of Tengyue river is the core area of Tengyue Cultural Square, which is composed of music fountain, cultural center, museum, library, youth science and technology activity center, track and field stadium, etc. In the center of the volcanic stone site at the east end of Sanqiao, there is a large-scale color music program-controlled fountain with an investment of nearly 2 million yuan. When it starts, with the change of music, it can emit different shapes of water, such as running spring, seagull, circular DC, straight DC, Guqin, dome shaped jet, centripetal arch jet, circular DC, flower plant, etc.

Cultural and sports facilities

stadium

The stadium covers an area of 75 mu with a total investment of more than 10 million yuan. There are 400m standard track, football field and other sports facilities. The west stand of the stadium is integrated with the office building of the Sports Commission, and the slope behind it is the main stand of the stadium, as well as the reviewing stand for large-scale mass meetings. The East grandstand is a solid building, all of which are inlaid with volcanic stone. The balustrade of volcanic stone is installed around the top, and the grandstand is overlaid with good volcanic stone. Stainless steel electric fence doors are installed on both sides of the north and the south. Between the two doors and the main grandstand is a green belt. Volcanic stone railings with various sports patterns are installed on the periphery. It looks magnificent, simple and beautiful. To the north of the stadium are three basketball courts. Under the grandstand against the wall is the student dormitory of the little sports school.

Three libraries (Cultural Museum, museum, Library)

The cultural center, museum and library are relatively independent, each covering an area of 15 mu, with a total construction area of more than 10000 square meters. The cultural center and museum are a quadrangle courtyard with the style of "walking horses in the attic". The patio not only increases the aesthetic feeling, but also provides an ideal activity place for the masses. The three pavilions are decorated with grey tiles and white walls, which are simple in style, beautiful and practical. The cultural center and library were completed and opened in 2002.
