Jingzhou Yangtze River Bridge
Jingzhou Yangtse River Bridge is a river crossing channel connecting Shashi District and Gongan County in Jingzhou City, Hubei Province, China. It is located on the Yangtze River waterway. It is a key traffic construction project in Hubei Province during the Ninth Five Year Plan period, and also a throat project connecting 207 National Highway to cross the Yangtze river.
The construction of Jingzhou Yangtze River Bridge started on March 28, 1998;
The main girder closure project was completed on November 26, 2001, and the whole bridge was connected;

Jingzhou Yangtze River Bridge starts from Jingzhou interchange in the north, crosses the Yangtze River waterway and ends at Jingzhou North interchange in the South; the total length of the line is 8.860 km, and the total length of the main bridge is 4.178 km; the bridge deck is a two-way four lane first-class highway with a design speed of 100 km / h; the total project cost is 1.373 billion yuan.
Construction process
On March 28, 1998, the construction of Jingzhou Yangtze River Bridge was started and the commencement ceremony was held.

On October 1, 2002, the Jingzhou Yangtze River Bridge was opened to traffic, and the opening ceremony was held.
On December 28, 2007, Jingzhou Yangtze River Bridge completed the installation of bridge and culvert signs, bridge column lights and other safety protection facilities.
On February 2, 2009, Jingzhou Yangtze River Bridge passed the completion acceptance of anti-collision facilities (Civil Engineering).
On May 15, 2016, Jingzhou Yangtze River Bridge completed the project of "rear type" to "front type" of etc Lane in Qiaobei toll station.
On December 7, 2019, Jingzhou Yangtze River Bridge passed the completion acceptance of stay cable maintenance project.

Jingzhou Yangtze River Bridge is located in the south of Jingzhou City, Hubei Province, China, connecting Shashi District and Gongan County. It is about 92KM away from the upstream Zhicheng Yangtze River Bridge in the West and 472km away from the downstream Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge in the East. The line of the bridge starts from Jingzhou interchange in the north, crosses the Yangtze River Waterway in the north and connects Jingzhou North in the south. The line passes through the Qiaonan service area, and is Erlianhot Guangzhou Expressway (National Expressway G55) < / I component.

1. Pile foundation construction——
① The engineering geological conditions are poor. The sandy soil layer of 20 to 30 meters on the surface has great scour depth and great liquefaction risk. In the middle, there are nearly 100 meters of gravel, cobble and breccia soil layers, so it is very difficult to drill.
2. Pile cap construction——
① The construction scheme of double wall steel cofferdam is adopted in the construction of bearing platform, and the bottom sealing of 33m large diameter double wall steel cofferdam is one of the difficulties in the construction of bearing platform.
② The temperature stress control of mass bearing platform concrete construction is the second difficulty.
3. Cable tower construction——
① The main difficulties of high tower construction are the construction of upper and lower beams and the construction of high tower columns
4. Construction of main girder and stay cable——
① It mainly focuses on hanging basket casting, system transformation, side and mid span interference, cable installation and adjustment.
5. Bridge deck construction——
① CF40 steel fiber reinforced concrete is used in bridge deck construction. Mixing and vibrating technology is the main difficulty.

Bridge name
On October 1, 2002, Jingzhou Yangtze River Bridge was opened to traffic. Six characters of "Jingzhou Yangtze River Bridge" inscribed by Jiang Zemin were set on the beam of the bridge tower.
