Tanhua Pavilion
Tanhuating was first built by Jia Sidao, Prime Minister of Tiantai in LiZong of Southern Song Dynasty.
Tanhua Pavilion in front of Fangguang temple was built by Jia Sidao, Prime Minister of Tiantai in LiZong period of Southern Song Dynasty. It is said that after the pavilion was completed, when Temple monks were offering tea, Epiphyllum appeared in the tea cup and disappeared, so it was named "Tanhua Pavilion". It was destroyed by fire in 1972 and rebuilt in 1980. Visitors can rest here, enjoy tea and watch the waterfall. From Tanhua Pavilion, you can see that the bottom of the waterfall is like ants.
