Yimen Mosque
Yimen mosque is located in Yimen Town, Woyang County, covering an area of 3600 square meters. Destroyed by floods and wars, it was rebuilt in 1928 as a special house for Hui people's worship. In 2009, it was rated as harmonious mosque in Anhui Province by the Provincial Bureau of religion.
Historical evolution
Yimen mosque is a place for religious activities of all Hui Muslims in Yimen, and also a place for Hui Muslims to study and negotiate. The status quo of the temple shows the development and social background of Islam in Huaibei area at that time, as well as the living standard of Hui Muslims at that time, which has a certain reference value for the study of religious culture in Huaibei area at that time. Its brick carving, whether from the knife carving techniques or its firing level, reached a very high level at that time.
In 2009, it was rated as harmonious mosque in Anhui Province by the Provincial Bureau of religion.
Architectural landscape
There are 5 main halls (main hall), with heavy beams, bright pillars, corridors, lattice doors and windows, standing on the 80 cm high Chongtai. The houses are tall, spacious and bright. There are five North and five South lecture halls. In front of the east end of the North lecture hall, there is an ancient soap tree. Under the tree, there is a wordless stone tablet, which is 2.5 meters long and 90 cm wide. There are two front gates, two front gates, Qing Dynasty architecture, brick structure, covered with gray tiles, Dragon Ridge decoration. The second gate is a new building with two rooms and two floors.
