Liangshan Academy
Liangshan academy is an ancient academy in Wuping County. It was built in 1886. It is a quadrangle courtyard with two courtyards. The main buildings keep their original quiet and elegant style, full of rich cultural connotation. Facing south, it covers an area of 746 square meters and a building area of 485 square meters.
Liangshan academy is located in CPPCC lane, Pingchuan Town, Wuping County, Fujian Province. It was built in 1886 by Tang Zhixie, the county magistrate, on the site of the former zhangnandao mansion. In the early years of the Republic of China, the County Council was set up here.
In June 1930, Mao Zedong led the Fourth Red Army into Wuping to guide the work of Wuping County Party committee and the county Soviet, presided over the holding of local cadres, workers, women and other symposiums, and issued important documents such as the letter to the working masses in Wuping, the Manifesto of the party headquarters of the Fourth Red Army of the Communist Party of China, and the political work program of the Fourth Red Army at all levels. Liangshan academy is the former site of the former enemy Committee of the Fourth Red Army
