Chunguifang

It is located in the east of Xinfang bridge and the west of Yuanfeng bridge. There is a good story. In 1103, the second year of Chongning in the Northern Song Dynasty, Zhang Yanzhi and his son Zhang Shou lived here. Six years later, the three brothers Zhang Zai, Zhang Huan and Zhang Yu were the same Jinshi in the imperial examination. Five of them won the title of the imperial examination. The village was very honored. Xu Shen, the governor of Changzhou, built a memorial hall here and named chunguifang after Lingchun and Dangui. It has existed for 891 years.

According to the records of Wuyang Zhiyu, Zhang Yanzhi (guantaifu), who lived here in the Northern Song Dynasty, had four sons who successively ascended the imperial examinations. Xu Shen, the prefect of Changzhou, took the allusion of "Lingchun Dangui" that five sons ascended the imperial examinations in the Five Dynasties, and built "Chungui square" in the alley to celebrate. Therefore, the street got its name.
