BEIYAO Mosque

BeiYao mosque is located in Huizu District of Fuhe in Luoyang. It was built in 1915. The original three mosques, the temple in the middle, also known as the North kiln temple. Among them, the main hall of worship is Arabic double-layer structure, the upper one is the main hall of worship, and the lower one is the male and female bathrooms, reception rooms and small hall of worship.

Historical evolution

BeiYao mosque was founded by Ma Pengfei, Ma Juncai, ban Yuzhen and Ma Chenglin in 1915. When the religious system was reformed in 1958, the temple was reserved. During the "Cultural Revolution" period, it was occupied by several factories, and the houses were demolished except the main hall. It was returned after 1978. Because the main hall was in disrepair for a long time, and because the three temples were not enough for worshiping, it was rebuilt in 1989 with the support of all circles concerned.

The total construction area of the temple is 3295 square meters. The worship hall covers an area of 1.2 mu, with a construction area of 1404 square meters. At present, there are 13 school directors, 15 Manla, more than 1200 religious people and more than 6400 Hui people in the temple.

architectural style

The new worship hall is a double-layer structure with Arabic style. The upper layer is the main worship hall, and the lower layer is the male and female bathrooms, reception rooms and small worship hall. There are three pieces or couplets on the pillars outside the hall, which are "the only one in the world, and the Lord's kindness should be rewarded, and the three heavenly inscriptions and five meritorious saints should be forever"; "cultivate one's moral integrity, take one's heart sincerely, and return to the truth with one's fate"; and "the Lord's Wanhua but not his Hua, wonderful but no trace, familiar but not his trace". The most characteristic is the beautiful and ornate Hutu white building. There are 1 large and 4 small green domes on the top of the hall, which make the appearance of the main building magnificent and magnificent.
