Weijiapo residence
Weijiapo residence is located 5 km north of Luoyang City and 0.5 km northwest of Luoyang West Station of Lianhuo expressway. Weijiapo residence was built during the reign of Emperor Qianlong and Daoguang of Qing Dynasty. It was an official residence built during the prosperous period of Wei family. The existing building area is 25500m2, with 248 houses and 26 courtyards and caves. The blue brick house in the courtyard is symmetrical in layout, with clear water routes for the master and servant. The house is decorated with five spines and six beasts, lions and seahorses, and a large number of wood carvings, brick carvings, stone carvings and plaques are preserved in the courtyard, which shows the artistic style of folk architecture in the Qing Dynasty.
Weijiapo residence was built in the prosperous period of the Qing Dynasty. Its scale, layout and style are relatively complete. It is rare in western Henan. Its era style and artistic characteristics provide important material materials for the study of private houses of middle-level officials in the Qing Dynasty, which has a certain historical and utilization value. On June 8, 2006, it was announced as the fourth batch of cultural relics protection units by the people's Government of Henan Province.
