Martyrs cemetery in Nankai District
Nankai martyrs cemetery is located at 118 xiyingmenwai Street (martyrs Road), Nankai District, Tianjin. It was built in February 1949 and rebuilt in 1967, covering an area of 0.76 hectares.

Development history
There are 2024 martyrs who died in the Tianjin campaign buried in the martyrs cemetery in Nankai District, including 428 martyrs from the 112th division of the 38th army. There is a monument in the garden, about 14 meters high. The inscription on the front of the monument is "the monument to the martyrs of the 38th army of the Chinese people's Liberation Army in the Tianjin campaign, which was erected in February 1949"; the inscription on the back is "the revolutionary martyrs shed their blood on both sides of the Haihe River, and their spirit won't die, and the people's heart will be left behind" and "it was rebuilt in March 1967". There is also an exhibition room of the 38th army's Tianjin campaign, about 200 square meters.
In March 2006, the relics, exhibits and materials displayed in the Tianjin Campaign Memorial Hall of the 38th army of Nankai martyrs' cemetery were handed over to the newly built Tianjin martyrs' cemetery, and the functions of Nankai martyrs' cemetery and Tianjin Campaign Memorial Hall of the 38th army of the army of Nankai group were no longer retained.
A memorial to the martyrs of the Tianjin campaign is now reserved for the people to look forward to.
